Almost three months since I opened this thread and no updates or any official news on the Su-27 PFM progress. So I'm bumping this a little because hope always dies last. :D

This is actually a very good question. Although it's supposed to be released "soon", we've been waiting for years now so..I wouldn't be terribly surprised if they delayed the whole thing to say, Christmass 2014 and then..oups..1st Q 2015..

Yeah, I just hope they fix the Saber as well, like, add radar to it, arrestor hook, anti-ship missiles.. Where do I file a bug report?

Here it is! :) This was the last version when I was just so frustrated that I tried to make it engage right after spawning..It obviously didn't work as well. :D bearattack.miz

^^Hmm..TU was some 100+ km away from the target (runway). I actually created a normal waypoint and then added an additional, advanced (attack) waypoint, indicating "point in the ground". It didn't work however. Should I put more distance between the bomber and the target?

I was trying to setup a TU bomber hitting a target (point on the ground) with guided missiles but it didn't work. The AI would just ignore the attack waypoint and go RTB. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.

I guess all those punctuation marks have also been destroyed by that missile as well?

^^I have a feeling they plan on releasing more features and thus, delaying the Su27 AFM..Perhaps the plan is to release additional goodies, for example, 6DOF MiG-29 cockpit or even AFM for Su-33 as well? I guess we'll find out in fall..

That would be nice. Even nicer: a FAST FORWARD & REWIND buttons for mission replay! :D

I agree. Whoever decided to send a civilian aircraft packed with passengers over a war zone (and east Ukraine IS a war zone), is a complete idiot. Already, numerous ukrainian aircrafts have been shot down by Russians (jets and transport planes) so that should have been already a "hint" for civilian aviation to get the hell out of there. Someone decided to gamble with the lives of ~300 people but I guess this time, as I understand civilian flights were using this route before, it definetely didn't pay off..

I stopped "waiting" for it quite some time ago...when it's out, it's out. But, to be honest, when the Su-27PFM gets released, the next wait will be for, say, 6DOF MiG-29 cockpit so..you can't really make everyone happy, there will always be more thing to want out of DCS.. :)

It should do well against Dora.

^^Hmm Eno.. yeah, ok. army198527, I do hope you and your fiance patch things up, if not, I wish you recover from that whole situation as soon as possible.

It's possible they they modified some of the LUA files.

Can you add support for FC3? (radar displays for F15C and Su27)

Someone posted the link in one of the threads here. Can't remember who but I know it was from russian forums and one of the ED staff posted about it. He said something along the lines that SU27 PFM is being developed as planned and it might be released in June..but as I said, it wasn't an official statement so..

It wasn't a joke. One of the ED guys posted in russian forums about possibility of Su-27 PFM being released in June. Of course, it wasn't official and it was not set in stone, but no, it certainly wasn't a joke. You know I never joke, right? :D

I went to the fortune teller and she told me Su27 PFM update happens today.

Which begs the question: why doing these sort of (low flying) training exercises over a populated urban area?
