Looks like more and more folks are getting this error. If the GPU is not a problem (DX11+) could it be lack of SSD drive? Because I'm having the same problem. Would feel kinda silly though if I was to buy the SSD drive and still have the same problem..

I get the black screen at startup as well..same thing wheter Singleplayer or Multiplayer..

Actually, I have the same problem. My hardware supports the sim requirements so...Maybe it's something to do with my 34" monitor? I get the DCS series screen in a very low resolution and afterwards it just turns black. This is a clean install of DCS World Beta.. Is there any way I can, thru config files, set the screen resolution?

^^Those doo seem like decent settings? I don't know..maybe I should just go for it..and see how it does..worst case scenario..upgrade my vid card..but that would my last option. :)

I was wondering how come they didn't eject..untill I read it was right after the take off. It must have been sudden for them not being able to react in time.

You think it wouldn't handle it? I wouldnt neccesarily play on MAX setting (like I do now on my standard monitor). Though I would be interested to know at what settings would it be able to run decent FPS.

What that russian pilot did there in the video..I've seen it sooo many times before..instead of blasting that Orion out of the sky, he decided to get close and fly some formation. He was probably warned by the admin and perhaps even kicked out of server for fooling around.

Maximum touchdown speed shouldn't be more then 320 kp/h and the decent rate should be around 1m/s.
