Network - Cockpit Sync issues, Multicrew Are there any experts here to help us out to get Cockpit sync working when doing Multicrew? We have tried entering eachothers IP adresses in the NetConfig.lua file, and in the UH60 we choose Networking, one as Pilot and Second as Co-pilot. Says Accepting in Pilot UH, and Connected in CoPilot UH, but still doesnt sync the cockpit... We are on the same 1.3.1 and same DCS versions. -
Do we need to manually start the Nvidia Profiler every time before we start DCS? or is the settings one time deal?

Do you guys use OpenXR with the stand-alone DCS or Steam DCS? -
Thanks for the 3dMigoto tip, removing the Rotor from Apache did the trick, now OpenXR is playable. Tried playing wihout reprojecton, but I cant stand the microjitter. MR on is the way to go for me too. And the sharpening tool for exterior was awesome, havent seen that since the Folhger ReShade Mod. ASUS 3090 + G2 on an i9 11500K

Yepp! I think I see the diffrence now. Too bad it takes 3 min to load up back and forth to check. But yeah, the Runway I started on felt longer and bigger with your profile activated.

I see no diffrence... I activated the vrdirectx profile, and started the SteamDCS but still same "3d" as before.. Did you manually change more settings?

Hmm, I don´t have openvr_mod.cfg anywhere. Didnt see it in the first post as a requirement for OpenXR? Maybe its the missing link? Hardware scheduleing was off, and Xbox bar was off. Do you have Telegram? Maybe we can do a chat support if you have time? ..so we dont flood this thread If you want, you can contact me here: https://t.me/coRb1 -
OpenXR Guide - Deprecated - This time for real (▀̿Ĺ̯▀̿ ̿)
corb replied to nikoel's topic in Virtual Reality
Hey thanks for the effort. I have setup my DCS with exact same settings as you, also downgraded to the Toolkit 1.0.4. But still IHADS ghosting a lot when moving head around. Look in my video how the Airspeed "0" turns into two zeroes when moving head or the Torque percentage, barly readable when moving head. I cannot figure out how to get around this.. Did a clean install of DCS prior to switching to OpenXR. Got it set to 100% resolution and MR Disabled. NVidia Control panel set to default, except Vertical Sync set to Fast. Latest drivers. Got a Asus RTX 3090, i9 11900K, 32 Gb Ram running at 3000 mhz. M2 Pcie 4.0 drive for DCS. -
I enabled NIS/FSR and scale down to 90% but then DCS just crashes to desktop when I try to start DCS. Any solution?

Is there any way to get rid of the ghosting effect of the IHADS overlay numbers and info when turning my head left and right? Got a 3090. Been mixing back and forth with MR, but the rotorblades are really messing everyting up with MR on. So I have decided to without, and trying to tweak it so that I dont get as much ghosting on everything. -

I launch DCS from the Windows MIxed reality "Club House". I think I can launch it from start menu as well, as long as you have ticked VR in DCS Settings. Pm me on Telegram if you want more support https://t.me/coRb1 Ah ok, thanks for the info. Well I think I can live with that for now. Really like the smoothness. I was just about to try and mix with NVidia settings to see if it was the cause. I have VR Pre-rendered Frames set to 4. -

I gave up the cleaning part, and just deleted every shred of DCS files I had on my system, and then redownload everything from Steam again. Luckely I saved my profiles for F18, A10, Apache for each HOTAS. So it was a quick restore of the input profiles. -

Ok! Just spent a few hours trimming this with OpenXR. At first, it was <profanity>, way worse than my SteamVR setup with Reshade and OpenFSR. But after enableing Motion Projection in OpenXR everything went from super jerky to butter smooth. I also noticed turning up res to 150% and disablesing MSAA is an acceptable level of shimmering. I used Toolkit to increase Saturation to 60%, so it almost looks like the Reshade Mod for VR. However, I can not get the same sharpness as that Reshade VR mod. Release OpenVR support with basic VR preset · fholger/reshade (github.com) Another issue I noticed in the Apache is that a get "tearing" on objects seen through the rotorblades, like tree tops, buildings and so on. Any way to get around that? My hardware, Intel i9 11900K, Asus Z590 Hero , Asus RTX 3090, 32 GB ram, M2 harddrive Pcie gen 4.0. -
Thanks for this! I got the game running smoother with my G2 and Asus 3090 now. Trying to set things up is a total mess with all the settings all over the place. Nvidia, Steam, Windows, and the game settings itself, no wonder its hard getting decent performance. Do you know if Intel CPU Virtualization enabled affects the performance? Also using OPEN-VR FSR and most settings like you do, really helped the fps. Ive also installed the Reshade mod or what its called. So getting very vivid colors and way much sharper textures. Not sure if it really takes away performance...

Thanks! That did the trick, but got really low framerate, even though I have the Asus 3090. Guess Steam version don´t play nice with it.
-
[SOLVED] I just installed 6.8.1 and keep getting Authorization failed for the mod. Any ideas what I should be doing? Im on Steam DCS.
-
Yeah! Just saw that when looking again I have heard talk about the one setting at the bottom, Virtual Reality Pre-rendered Frames. Some say it increases smoothness when the value is set higher than 1? Any experience?

Hello guys! Any tips on what to set the NVIDIA 3D Settings to? Or just leave everything at default? Just got my Asus 3090 OC a couple of days ago.
-
Thanks! Thanks! It worked.

OMG! I thought my brain and eyes was broken, just noticed how some shadows are missing in right eye render. Looking at objects on ground look really messed up now. Can´t get real depth percetion when some shadows are missing. Using a reinstalled Windows 10, and New clean install of DCS, NVidia Drivers and so on. Is it DCS that is broken? Reverb G2
