  1. It doesn't matter which module you install first or last. What you say you are experiencing was addressed by GhostDog. The only time I know of that you would find yourself in F2 or F7 view is if you build a mission in the editor and do not specify your plane or chopper skill as "Player".
  2. What is the problem with installing the software? I have it installed, but never have used it, I have always used the mapping program inside of the sims that I fly.
  3. B1 takeoffs here at Tinker, a sound experience. I don't think they get out of afterburner untill about 6 miles down range. Takes maybe a minute plus a few seconds, then its quiet again.
  4. Oh fudge , that is just a screen capture of "The Matrix"
  5. Thinking about my years as a commissioned mechanic in GM dealerships, I was usually troubleshooter in Wiring harness shorts and "noises" in newly delivered automobiles. All you need for air "whistles" is a gap between two surfaces big enough for air to get into and cause turbulence within that gap. It can even be a gap that is part of the body design. So it could be anything .
  6. :music_whistling: Still appreciate your work, Blaze!
  7. Shaw's book in PDF. http://www.foinikas.org/ftp/public/Docs/Fighter%20Combat%20-%20Tactics%20and%20Maneuvering.pdf also another for BFM. http://trainers.hitechcreations.com/acm-merge/acm-merge.htm
  8. Might try rolling back to earlier drivers. I've had driver versions that do that. Rolling back to a different version usually worked.
  9. I don't think I have seen the '69 "Battle of Britain" film. "Memphis Belle" was marvelous and it took me almost 1 1/2 years to even find "Dark blue World" here in the US after it's original release .
  10. Hey, SYN_Jedders Don't get mixed up and go looking for an altitude throttle.
  11. Will do slayer. I am convinced that the glitch has nothing whatsoever to do with DCS World. The problem is all on my end.
  12. Since installation and use of DCS World, every time I run the sim, once started - I find that my Logitech Pro Pedals do not work. Once I start the sim I have to unplug and replug the pedals in order to use them. I do not have this problem with Black Shark, A10, Rise of Flight or FSX. Anyone else? *edit On further investigation, I have come to the conclusion that this occurs after computer is awakened from sleep mode. For some reason Logitech drivers don't awaken (I guess they just don't get enough shut eye) I've never noticed this behavior with other DC sims. I can check this with Black Shark in the morning.
  13. I could live with the yellow, but no green on the dials just felt all wrong after looking at dozens and dozens of different cockpit panels over the years. (kinda like peanut butter with out the jelly)
  14. Was wondering, maybe back it up a wee bit to where you still had some color in the "safety margins" on the dials? (back towards the green tint that was there originally) That's the only thing that sticks out a bit.
  15. That happens, I've gotten hit by that surprise at legit sites.
  16. Good grief, I've never noticed a pull down in top left. Of course I've seen the little "news" pull out on the left in middle of startup screen.
  17. I see, I never thought about that. I should have remembered that A10 and BS2 would naturally have their own setting within their own "module". I guess it is because I have never seen a place where you could set up controls for the SU25t.
  18. I have not found discussion on this. If DCS World is the docking point for multiple planes, are we going to have the ability to store our stick configuration settings on a "per plane" basis? Just to be clear, It doesn't seem logical to have to balance button and axis settings to fit several different planes and choppers. I'm in the dark as far as how this is or is going to be handled.
  19. The fact that someone dislikes this, or dislikes that, is not the real disturbing thing. Everyone has likes and dislikes, including me. Nothing wrong with commenting on those. It's the way the comments are posted. The downright hateful tone that is viciously used within the comments can really be a "bummer". I can appreciate the patience that is portrayed by Ed's team in their responses. The problem is if no one can mention the vitriolic language, or the way the comment is "way overboard", then where does accountability come in to play. What in the world does that teach a person? Is anything and everything Okay? What has happened to requiring a little respect and civil decorum. There used to be a heck of a difference between talking to a few friends and talking in a public setting.
  20. I had that very problem this afternoon. I had to exit DCS and unplug and replug the USB.
  21. I've gotten a big kick out of seeing the "finesse" in posts recently. Must be something in the water. Maybe it is jet lag or something.
  22. your not looking for right program to uninstall, look for DCS World. P51D is a module inside DCS World. Maybe at a later date you might be able to just install or uninstall separate modules. * edit Nate beat me to it
  23. This is great! I was only expecting incorporation into DCS World! Thank you for the unexpected!
  24. Thanks, for that, sure enough I kept wanting a "reconnaissance" mission.
  25. I start up Mission Editor to put together a mission to just goof around in. Editor starts with P-51 when I first open it up. As soon as I start adding waypoints or editing speeds and heights, plane type switches to F-15. I open up the plane type drop down, there is no P-51 to change back to! So whats up with this? My lowly editor skills must be worse than I remember.
