Glad it worked for ya! I love how easy RS Mapper is to use, I use it for a lot of my switches for my AV8B pit. It's just easier than changing the LUAs.

For example, for the Flap switch. Pos 1 is Cruise flaps, middle is cruise, pos 2 (down) is STOL. So in DCS control options, I assign the pos 1 to pos 1 on the switch. Pos 2 to position 2 on the switch. The middle position i assign a keyboard command, let's say it the key "F". In RS mapper I can assign the keyboard command "F" when button 1 & 2 are released.

RS Mapper is your answer for a 3 way switch. you assign a keyboard command for the center position in DCS then assign that command to the center position in RS Mapper.

Quick question about the fuel ladder. Where does the 1200 lbs per 15 mins come from? I understand it's based on max endurance speed but at what altitude and what drag index? Is it based on a basic drag index or actual load out? -

No, I haven't. That one and the bingo knob are my nemesis(es/ie?). I have asked Razbam for the title of the bingo knob coding but they havent had time to look that up yet. I believe the altimeter knob is the same type of coding as the bingo knob , a "default axis cycle ". And as I understand it you have to code those as "Icommand-title-incr/decr". But without knowing the title you wont be able to code it. I could be wrong though.

Yes, they did issue a "combat aircraft fundementals" manual in 2016, not seen an updated version since. It's missing a few bits and as far as I could tell didn't have a clear layout of the training sorties planned for a B course. The other option is just following the IQT campaign that's available. My problem is that I love seeing the real stuff and creating my own missions based on that. -

One thing I forgot to mention is that I also amended the coding in the COMMS section for the RCS panel. The original LUA has the OP MODE of the RCS coding miss-spelled with the word MODE as MOD. The numbers for the positions are also incorrect. It's coded with some arbitrary intervals but it should be 20 degree intervals to assign rotary switches. Hi guys, Just wondering, does anybody have a syllabus guide for the A-10 B course? ie, something that lays out all the training missions? I'm NOT asking for any classified stuff or tactics, merely a list of what gets covered on the training flights during conversion onto the jet. There is a real world document available for the AV8B training syllabus with very detailed information about ALL the simulator sessions, all the real training flights and a big section with tips and tricks how to operate the jet. This is in addition to all the NATOPS manuals. Needless to say this is amazing. I have also been able to find an old document detailing the syllabus for the F-16 B course. The Basic Employment Manual is also contains a lot of fantastic unclassified information. So I was curious, with the A-10 module being so detailed and most complete. Is anybody aware of any document that shows what the training flights are like?

Hi guys, Is there any fuel planning software/app or excel sheet available that you know of? I have looked but didn't find any other than the one for the A10 and F18. I mainly looking for one for the AV8B but if there is one that I can modify accordingly that could be a workaround. What I'm looking for is something that will calculate how much fuel the jet will use for climb/cruise fuel use per mile (or any other method of calculating fuel use) and descent. Bingo, joker or tiger calculators would be cool too.

Hi guys, For the past few weeks I have been busy coding the LUA files whilst building my VR AV8B home cockpit. I have shared these with Razbam and hopefully they will implement them at some point. In case this doesn't happen I would like to share these with you. I am not an expert coder by any means, so it may not be perfect but it works. The main additions are for the joystick lua file but add the coding to the keyboard lua file if you wish to use keyboard key combinations for a switch position (mainly OFF positions). I use RS Mapper to enable a switch to function in the OFF position. For example, a 2 way stich has an ON and OFF position. In DCS you can only trigger an instruction in the ON position. With RS Mapper I have assigned a keyboard command to when the switch is moved to the OFF position. This keyboard command effectively gives me 2 inputs with 1 switch. The POKEYS software can also code this if you are making a home cockpit with one of their cards. So, in general I have not added keyboard coding for every switch/button, but usually they would have the option to assign a keyboard command for the OFF position (or the center position if it's a 3 position switch). The only knob I can not get coded correctly is the BINGO fuel one, if anybody has this coded please share. Hi guys, For the past few weeks I have been busy coding the LUA files whilst building my VR AV8B home cockpit. I have shared these with Razbam and hopefully they will implement them at some point. In case this doesn't happen I would like to share these with you. I am not an expert coder by any means, so it may not be perfect but it works. The main additions are for the joystick lua file but add the coding to the keyboard lua file if you wish to use keyboard key combinations for a switch position (mainly OFF positions). I use RS Mapper to enable a switch to function in the OFF position. For example, a 2 way stich has an ON and OFF position. In DCS you can only trigger an instruction in the ON position. With RS Mapper I have assigned a keyboard command to when the switch is moved to the OFF position. This keyboard command effectively gives me 2 inputs with 1 switch. The POKEYS software can also code this if you are making a home cockpit with one of their cards. So, in general I have not added keyboard coding for every switch/button, but usually they would have the option to assign a keyboard command for the OFF position (or the center position if it's a 3 position switch). The only knob I can not get coded correctly is the BINGO fuel one, if anybody has this coded please share. Can anybody confirm that this is still not working correctly? I am not getting a bunch of weird indications with the TOT/TTT function. First a slow command speed then as you get closer the command speed ramps up to really high numbers.

Hi Razbam, Just want to report an issue I found on the Normandy map. The track line on the EHSD is always indicating 10 degrees left of my heading, no matter what the actual wind is. I have tried this with no winds, strong winds, changing dates, changing from magnetic to true but the track line remains in the 11 (ish) o'clock position on the EHSD. I think the post below (about Nevada HUD issue) has some screenshots where the trackline is 10 degrees to the right of the actual heading, this is the same problem except it's to the right, instead of left. This does not occur on the Caucasus map. Please find attached the track file where before take off, the track line indicates 350 degrees. As soon as I take off it indicates 10 left of my heading. The wind is from the south, the ghost vector is working as expected but the EHSD trackline is not. I turned on to a heading of 180 degrees (straight into a headwind, no drift) and yet the trackline says 170. I turn to 090, wind from the right, track indicates 080 degrees. I turn north , tailwind with no drift, track says 350 degrees but my actual real track is 360 degrees. AV8Bweird trackline.trk
