  1. Thanks. That's sounds really bad for us hornet pilots in terms of realism. Any other thing similar to that?
  2. No, not at all. I wanted to know what is wrong with the HARM when fitted into a Hornet, thus wanted to know the differences between the HARMs when fitted in the two aircrafts. The video doesn't teach me what is the difference between the two simulations, so I don't know what is due to aircraft specific design and what is due to a DCS issue.
  3. Actually no, because I don't know what is aircraft specific and what is not. Thanks.
  4. I don't fly the Viper!!! Can you elaborate on those differences pls? I'd be much appreciated

It all comes down to spending 20 more seconds writing a couple of words describing the solution. Guess they don't have that time.
  6. I know, the question was, when did they implemented it correctly?
  7. Hey Quigon, that just repeats what I already said, hence know. Can you elaborate please?
  8. So I just saw this thread and it is very confusing. What is it that is wrong now? And why ED says "Viper Standards"???? Aren't Hornet standards high enough to justify a well done simulation of the HARM? Quite insulting IMHO.

No it wasn't. They only said they corrected the use of it but never tought or tell us what it is supposed to do. So no.-
  10. +1. Markpoints were a massive improvement to the usability of the aircraft in combat scenarios, offset will be as much as good.
  11. Yeah, I don't know what was the point of the other comments, but this needs to be fixed. ED themselves said they MUST NOT loft unless in PB mode.
  12. So you find mk82 in AUTO bugfree?
  13. Bump, this is still present in OB and makes close self defense shots useless due to the missile flying over the target after lofting.
  14. Yeah, I also saw that if you are close to the target the bug makes that the missile flies over the target and never hits.
  15. Hi BN. I just saw this reply, I'm sorry for not answering before. It seems that the bug about going to guard after loss of AC power is fixed, I tried and it no longer happens, so I assume the devs took my report as a bug in the end. So as long as you don't touch the GND Power panel everything in the radios simulation is gorgeously coded with a lot of attention to detail, I tested from the auto band selection (am/fm) to the different guard bands and everything works perfectly. BUT as soon as you request ground power and touch the gnd power panel everything starts going to hell and appears that the code becomes a total mess. Attached a track where you can see all of that happening (the "click" sound is for VHF guard and the "noisy squelch with voices" sound is for UHF guard, then you have a funny "maybe next time" sound that corresponds to channel 1 comm 1). With that the devs will easily see these bugs. In regards to the feedback you quoted from the devs, I'm not sure that's what they wanted to say unless they're wrong about it which I don't think they are. Comm1 is turned as soon as DC power (battery) comes online and channel 1 is automatically selected. This is to help the pilot communicate before AC power (generators) come online. I know these are low priority things, but It would be nice to have these ground base systems bugfree before they start to give headaches to ED. Thanks. radios system bugs.trk
  16. So ED stated a couple of months ago that HARMs do not loft in SP because they don't know range, which makes perfect sense. In current OB HARMs do loft in SP so I was wondering what was going on there. Thanks.
  17. They're not discussing about having perfect impacts, that has been said a million times, none of us expect dumb bombs to be smart. They are discussing about the consistency of the errors... Errors should be erratic, not the same over and over again, those are called bugs.
  18. Absolutely grateful for this complete and comprehensive reply, thanks for taking the time to do it. The only question remaining I think is what does synthetic return mean?
  19. let it go kid, no need to start a fight.
  20. I didn't say I can, don't be so toxic. I also think it might be correct. Take it easy, or a break.
  21. Although what you say, in a rather odd way, is true, you can't deny that the man's got a point. It does feel strange, that only mark points are deleted without pilot consent. "Correct as is" is an infamous tag nowadays and can be easily ruled out in a flick.
  22. Roger.
  23. Wags said "cannot be directly selected", so what is going on exactly here? Is that command wrong?
