  1. So I don't understand something: Wags said that AGR isn't something you can access rather it is automatically done by MC if needed. I am seeing people talking about SCS FWD command. Where do they/you get that from? How did you know that command does that?
  2. cannot reproduce?
  3. Hi, I've been away for months and don't quite understand what FTT means, besides what it stands for. I saw many posts from wags using FTT letters in the same line as SEA mode and other posts using FTT letters in the line of MAP mode, so what is what? How does it work in the hornet? Thanks.
  4. Huh? Contrast isn't implemented and not working currently. It is far from being fine or even real. But hey, ED says correct as is so why bother. Last time I've seen that tag it was the other way around so I'll take it as "reported".
  5. I concur with everything Rifle said. Before this update you could clearly see how the maths of AUTO mode wasn't correctly modeled. Now you could clearly see how the error got extrapolated to other scenarios. A couple of months ago they also "fixed" a bug about AUTO mode method selection that prevented the solution to be accurate but it never did anything in game.
  6. I haven't flown the A10C for years now and seeing all these last videos from Wags reminded me of how well the TAD is simulated in terms of legibility. I would like to ask Kate or someone interested in customers at ED, how much time do we have to wait for an at least decent HSI/SA page with MAP enabled screen? It's been a lot of time since release of the Hornet and we still struggle to feel like we're seeing a real screen there. Every attempt to make it better just breaks it even more. I sincerely hope this gets addressed soon.
  7. What are your sources for saying that an amraam in the air gets midcourse updates despite having a target lock? If the target gets lost for one second or two and then reappears how does the missile know if the new contact was the same you intended to fire on? I hardly think you guys are right. By the way, DCS behaving like this doesn't mean it is correct.
  8. Yeah I understand, WIP is WIP, nothing to complain there. But it was good to realize what you mentioned: that the INS no longer magically knows coordinates if you moved first, but it still gives an OK reading.
  9. No, the whole AG role of the hornet was (still is in some areas) in a "cheat" state where despite core systems not being modeled the end result was the same. For example DTED and AGR were never simulated until AGR now, but CCIP was still possible. So it makes sense that once the systems become modeled the user sees no difference. Dozens of things in the hornet (and many other modules of course) are like this and will keep being as such until it is completed, otherwise nothing would work until it is.
  10. What? Really? is that intended?
  11. Mmmm, nice finding. I guess the GPS isn't working maybe despite unrestricted satnav. Let's see what ED says.
  12. Nevermind, it is fixed after proper checking. Now the accuracy is the same no matter the distance (GPS magic). It can be good or not but it is consistent like it should be. thanks.
  13. Any news guys?
  14. Hello hello. Any news about the IFLOS?
  15. Dear ED team, any news about this bug? We're only looking for an acknknowledge, the actual fix is in your hands.
  16. Maybe if you move far enough it will not give OK? No idea, but might be worth of trying.
  17. Hi NL. Actually now that you mention it, the wp0 bug was fixed but the INS still provides an OK status. Might be correct though, the INS is telling you it aligned but doesn't really know that the position is the actual one or not, but could be a bug as well I don't really know. But that's a different thing. For now this bug was more about the knob position that I think it is not supposed to energize the INS. Thanks!
  18. Might be right, that's why I started saying that it could be correct.
  19. If you have a TGT created and go to the HSI DATA page, any button you press within that page or any subpage will command an UNDESIGNATE action and remove the TGT. Track attached. tgt hsi bug.trk
  20. So after the new INS implementation I reported a bug where the alignment without GPS magically knew new coordinates if aircraft moved. Now that's fixed (aweseome!) but I found a new bug I think. With the INS knob in the OFF position, if you move the INS coordinates move as well to the exact position like if the INS was not only turned on but aligned as well. Track attached. ins new implementation bug.trk
  21. Huh? Where did you get that? Hornet lot 20 has DTED or digital terrain elevation data. Just like the 16 and the a10 have DTSAS.
  22. I do not know if this is correct or not, I suspect it isn't. Mark points cannot be accessed if you have SEQ selected and must unselect it in order to be able to access markpoints. This makes the pilot have to go all the way through the 3 sequences unboxed and boxed before being able to return to the SEQ1 boxed. Track attached. MK point seq.trk
  23. Yeap, the whole radar+LTWS+TWS+MSI+SA thing has so many bugs that our squad has put the hornet to sleep for a while until ED gets their hands on bug fixing.
  24. Didnt you have some kind of winds there?
