  1. I didn't fly yet the a10cII so I would not know if there is a difference now, but I can tell you that the original one was indeed way off. I noticed it immediately after purchasing it and going for a quick flight back in 2014. When you fly enough IRL you can tell when something is really off despite not having flown the actual platform. You can tell by the wing area, weight, wing shape, speed, etc. Those things let you know when something is incorrectly modeled. Then a couple of years later an actual warthog pilot said that exact same thing, plus that the engines were too weak, which as far as I know ED hasn't changed yet. EDIT: As far as I can see in the A10C II videos it seems that it has improved a lot, and the module is a blast!

    New lights

Well, for me IMO the current implementation reflects better the reality (yes I am). Why? Because although right now it looks exaggerated it is closer to reality than before where you could not see a light if it was more than a couple meters away. Hope they keep it this way :)
  3. That doesn't and never worked, it resets to blank once server launched.
  4. Are we? Any solution to this issue?
  5. This has been reported many times.

    New lights

So I love how bright the lights are seen now in distant aircraft. You can clearly see them like IRL now. I was wondering if this was a bug or an intended feature. Can we expect it to stay? Thanks.
  7. Like I said, during ranging search modes it is stabilized and shown the same elevation to cue the pilot about the relation between the cone and the earth, so if you pitch the antenna will move up or down as required to maintain that angle but will show you the caret at the same elevation that was preset. During combat modes or tracking modes it is focused on painted object and shown as such, so if you pitch or roll it will show you exactly what the antenna is doing so the pilot can know its limits. I hope it is more clear now. Thanks.
  8. But what about the question I asked? What did Nineline mean by his statement? It sounded like the wind window in the ME is bugged, which I didn't know.

    TXDSG

I really hope not. A non interactive symbol would be useless for a combat pilot in a combat scenario where lives are at stake. Just being able to make a TGT on that spot will be great.

    TXDSG

Yeah, I think that'd be enough. Making a TGT where others are looking will be great. I was asking this because with the limited hornet we have in dcs I was worried that it will be only able to see the point but not interact with it.
  11. In STT there is no other possible way. The antenna MUST be slaved to the point where it is focusing all the beam.
  12. This is exactly why I said I didn't consider any of this a problem. But that it would be still nice to have an alignment procedure.
  13. During search yes, during lock no.
  14. Touché. Move along, nothing to see here :)
  15. The roadmap that was shared with customers is very far from reality. Unfortunately I think the hornet will have to wait a couple more years to be completed. Just basing in facts here.
  16. Hi BN. This has been reported a thousand times by many customers, how come ED still needs tracks for this to be reported and eventually fixed? It is an issue, has been an issue and will continue to be an issue until fixed; ED has already acknowledged this as well. I'm not trying to be a blocking person here, just a customer worried about the heading ED is taking. Thanks.
  17. While I don't agree about this being an issue, I do think that ED should code an aligment procedure where the pilot can adjust this as his preference.
  18. I don't understand this statement. What is "the optiones to set wind correctly"? What is it that is not working (apart from the steering wind corrected cues)? Thanks
  19. Are we able to edit the description of a server now?
  20. Absolutely +1. this should be priority as it makes missions very unrealistic.
  21. Yeah that's what I wanted to say, :). That they are the same concept that overlap eachother in DCS but obviously not IRL, unless they use track ir xd

    TXDSG

So the "transmit designation" button on the SA will allow us to see what other flights are designating, just like the "broadcast spi" in the a10c. My question is if anyone knows, will we be able to do anything with that symbol like hook, designate, create a markpoint, etc?
  23. Is the 1010 better now in multicrew?
  24. The antenna will actually move up or down so it can keep the lock, so is correct in that aspect. As for whether it should show the caret move or not I guess only ED knows. But I suspect this is not a bug. When in search mode, radars don't show caret movement so it can show the pilot the cone over earth relation, but when in tracking modes they do show 1:1 antenna movement.
  25. The thing is that this concept is kind of an accelerated view like track ir. And when you actually use a track ir and also have that accelerated crosshair makes it feel weird. But yeah, I see now why it was done like that... Real life applied track ir xd
