There is an APC i used to use for target practise I think call bowman ( tracked APC with MG on top) has it been removed from DCS ? @Flappie any ideas hombre ?

Steps to replicate: Set A-G SMS select AG-65D. Set to PRE. Set right MFD to WPN Set left MFD to TGP. Set TGP to SOI. Set TGP to AUTO. Locate target Target designate SOI will change to WPN during handover. Additionally, TGP SNOWPLOW gets fixed to the horizontal plane and not at an angle to the ground when in TGP/AGM-65D. TGP Loses SOI When Targeting and WPN Active.trk

In SP instant action mission, I obtain a point track on two MLRS' and wait till between 9 and 4 miles in the track displayed and I see collapsed IR seeker lock confirmed but I am constantly although not always missing the targets. I do not know what I am missing here. This should all be demonstrated in the attached track. I am using the TM Warthog if that makes any difference. Vipermav.trk

There is a line in hud where things disappear... Sometimes its just enough to be annoying, sometimes its big enough to hide the entire velocity vector. What causes this? Is it a head alignment issue? is there some adjustment to make to minimize it? Its also in this video at about 4:35 so you can see it in action… just in case I’m not really explaining it on a still shot… https://youtu.be/YsqZ_wFVDNY?si=k3jtqMOHMbfuCZe0 I have increased and decreased to graphics as much as I know how.... Its something that happens every time i fly, and i can get around it by sitting up in my chair or slouching a little to get the vector back in view, but he black line is still there... Base beta... Haven't even started the rabbit hole of mods yet, so its not one of those, and it comes up whether or not my Tobii is plugged in or not

Hi, several times now, ( and usually when my landing has been somewhat interesting in the wind on the SC case 1 mission) I trap and the wire wont disengage from my hook, and starts pulling me backwards. Sometimes, by moving the jet around I can get it drop off, other times, its got me man and wont let go.....Obvs I have tried raising and lowering the hook several times, no go..... Anyone else get this? It a bit annoying as the last time it happened, it pullled me into some parked planes as we were wrestling with each other and I got a fratricide and scores wiped!!!

correct as is F-16 Parking brake not working since last update
void68 posted a topic in Bugs and Problems
Bound the parking brake to a switch before, worked fine. Now hitting the switch in my homepit into upward position (PB) no upward switch position in the simulated cockpit. Checked it in Settings, the switch gives immediate and correct feedback "PARKINGBRAKE". However there are two entries, both are in orange? AntiSkid on/off positions however work like before. Changelog says: "Fixed: 3-way switch for ANTI-SKID/PB doesn't engage Parking Brake." Strange, I never had problems, it always engaged the Parking brake before. NOW it's broken. -
correct as is Brakes not holding on MIL check (vs changelog)
Ahmed posted a topic in Bugs and Problems
Last changelog included: Fixed: Brake check holding at Mil power. However, they don't. The FCS commanding aft stabilator deflection to rotate the nose also looks suspicious, as the NATOPS technique states that the pilot must apply aft input at the nose wheel liftoff speed. brake_check.trk -
I'm new to this module and actually jets altogether as I'm a warbird pilot so if this is a dumb question answer it anyway. After you change waypoints and make a turn towards the new one the instructor instructs you to make a new steer point using the HUD and TDC then pressing the TMS up once. This does nothing and the lesson will not continue. Any thoughts? I did make the MFD SOI and tried it using the cross and hitting the TMS to the right instead of up and I do get a box on the map but nothing on the HUD. Thanks!

a minor thing but since the april 24 patch the RWR BIT no longer works RWR-BIT_not-working.trk

This can't be right. The accuracy or Circular Error Probable (CEP) of the GBU38 is as bad as a dumb bomb. The waypoint is from the editor, exactly in the middle of the tank X Y Z. https://streamable.com/pi8l3e F16 GBU38 CEP.trk

correct as is Enemy AI Won't Engage!
Shahriar0 posted a topic in Aircraft AI Bugs (Non-Combined Arms)
Hi, Has anyone noticed a change in the behavior of AI in terms of engaging in air combat in the recent releases? I have these saved SP missions that I use to practice BVR from time to time, and for the past several years they have been working as expected; AI planes launch their missiles as they get in range. Now, I have noticed that, the RED side, has signed a non-aggression pact and they do not launch at all! In fact, if I don't launch myself, they simply merge. The missions are super simple. There is a Blue and a Red side, with the task set to CAP (I have tried others such as Intercept with the same result) and the skill set is Ace. Most of the planes I practice against carry AIM-120C - if that makes a difference (for F-14 AI, it actually does. I have noticed that lately when they carry AIM-54A-Mark47, they do not launch at all. When I change the missile type to Mark 60, they do.) Beside ED tweaking the behavior to correct this, how can I make the Red side engage in BVR for now? Thanks. -
Slaving to a steerpoint or markpoint is fine if I have even a single mk82 or other weapon aboard to select CCRP, but if I am flying with only a tgp, I cannot select a delivery mode other than CCIP, and therefore I cannot slew the TGP. Is there any work-around?

correct as is Bug: Missing Radio Freqs for Bandar-e-Jask
Elphaba posted a topic in Bugs and Problems
Here's the entry in: \DCS World\Mods\terrains\PersianGulf\radio.lua { radioId = 'airfield21_0'; role = {"ground", "tower", "approach"}; callsign = {{["common"] = {_("Jask"), "Jask"}}}; frequency = {}; sceneObjects = {'t:82673668'}; }; However in the M.E. window you see this: Where is that data coming from if not from the radio.lua for the terrain pack?! -
As the titel says, the AGM 62 seems to be not available anymore for the Hornet. Could not find it in weapons. Activated the clock or not, no way. Has anyone information about the walleye ?

In BS, you have to trim in the direction you want to go. If we try (for example) to turn to the left without trimming, the helicopter will then automatically return to the last trimmed position. Worse, we "fight" against the machine if we don't trim, during our turn... I've been flying the KA-50 for years and have totally gotten used to it. I use the flight director if I want free flight without trim. But it was only recently that I discovered the following video: In this video, we see the pilot performing a large number of maneuvers without ever having to trim his machine. He doesn't seem to fight against it either. And he's not in flight director mode either So the question is : Is the Black Shark's trim realistic in the game? After watching this video, I'm not sure anymore... PS : we see him trimming at 2:45, 3:04 and he trim a lot in the end of video. But he make a lot of maneuvers without trimming at the begining of the video, and without fighting against the auto pilot who want to turn on the last trimmed position

This could be tangentially related to https://forum.dcs.world/topic/345045-fcs-wow-mode-after-fm-update For the Hornet, when taking off, 22 degrees of ANU is commanded mid-takeoff roll, and after weight-off-wheels one can find the stabs being commanded to 19 degrees NU well into 30 degrees of AoA. I did not include further moments of the track, but after 19 degrees of NU STABs is seen, the STABs would be "eased off" to ~11 degrees NU, and is immediately fixed or at least alleviated by (via keybinds) cycling the flaps from AUTO to HALF/FULL and back into AUTO, with a different resulting STAB position. I have the FCS page on my right DDI - those of you watching the track should be able to see it as well. Hornet AUTO takeoff flaps cycled.trk One should find the stabilators returning to approximately 3 degs NU upon cycling the flaps in the track attached. Throughout the process the gear is not raised nor did the airspeed exceed 250 kts. To test the reset logic itself: I have attempted a normal takeoff, STABs are commanded to ~14-15 degs ANU. After WoW I put flaps to AUTO, gear handle up, and then put the gear handle down again. At ~180kts IAS, STAB is at 2-3 degs NU. Hornet normal takeoff 180kts.trk The same occurs without putting the gear handle up in the first place. Hornet normal takeoff no gear-up 180kts.trk Then - a second takeoff with flaps in AUTO. The aforementioned 22 degrees ANU STABs is observed with aggressive pitch-up tendencies. I used full stick forward to try to counter this tendency but there is not enough authority to counteract this. Cycled flaps from AUTO to FULL and back to AUTO. No gear up, ~180kts, STAB is also at 2-3 degs NU. Hornet AUTO takeoff 180kts.trk A third takeoff with flaps set to FULL would still have the STABs on 22 degrees ANU, but when flaps is put back into AUTO without gear up, STAB is observed at 2-3 degs NU at ~180kts. Hornet FULL takeoff 180kts.trk The gear handle appears to have no influence on the trim reset logic. Putting flaps from non-AUTO to AUTO does. Cheers.

So I had a Pylon shot off, George wouldnt fire on Target as the Missile that was showing on the Weapons page was readied on a pylon that no longer existing. It was my understanding that we could "Step" through to other Missiles. My intention was to Step through until a missile was readied on an existing Pylon. I set to MANUAL mode and pressed the button I had mapped for "Missile Advance" but it would not advance? I double checked the button assignment in the controls option and found it to be functional, but its not Advancing/Stepping? nullnullnull null

correct as is Mast bump more frequently after update
gonzolofogous posted a topic in Bugs and Problems
I'm experiencing mast bumping way more frequently after the March performance update. Even sometimes in level flight the rotor separates from the mast. I'll notice it's prominent going from a left bank to a right bank at about 40 kts with the same pitch input. Before the update, I would have to maneuver aggressively to induce a mast bump, but with this update, it seems to happen under normal flight characteristics. Any input would be appreciated, Tomcat 1-1 -
I can't say for sure when the Radalt would show in the Viper, but I can say that they only usually work to a max alt of 2500ft. It's not a major issue obviously but just another little addition to the realism. Cheers, Dr Spanklle

There are two accumulators inside the F-16 to start Jet Fuel Starter. If putting Jet fuel switch to START 1, it empties both - which is incorrect. Only when switching to START 2, should empty both at the same rate/time. f-16_JFS_start2_issue.trk
