I am trying to make a mission which requires the radio tuning knobs to be set to a certain frequency to activate a trigger. So, the item numbers are 88 for the MHz knob and 89 for the KHz knob with the ranges from 0,-90 and 0,110 respectively. How does the knob rotation range equate to the argument range in this case? I’ve asked on the Mission Builders Facebook page but got no response.

I haven't flown CE2 for some time (but I have not long ago), so I can't be sure about the version when this broke... but there is nothing about Christen Eagle in the release notes since the fuel/radio display patch (much welcome!). But now the mouse bindings don't do the right thing. I'm using Quaggles Command Injector with the following settings: {down = 3256, cockpit_device_id = 0, value_down = 0, name = _('Pilot torch light on-off'), category = {_('Lights'), _('Custom')}}, {down = iCommandViewAngleDefault, name = _('Zoom normal'), category = {_('View'), _('Custom')}}, {pressed = iCommandViewCenter, name = _('View Center'), category = {_('View'), _('Custom')}}, {down = iCommandCockpitClickModeOnOff, name = _('Clickable Mouse Cockpit Mode - ON/OFF'), category = {_('General'), _('Custom')}}, ...because your module does not allow binding these things to the mouse for no apparent reason. In the middle of writing this report, I suspected that maybe Quaggle got broken by the latest DCS upgrade (happens occasionally), but I have similar overrides for AJS37 and it works there. So something seems to be broken with the commands themselves in CE2: Zoom axis (mouse wheel) doesn't work (that one is not even handled by Quaggle) Single click to clickable cockpit doesn't work (the fallback default double click does) Zoom normal and View Center seems to work fine though.

I live in the editor and doing script, more then flying now a day working on the missions I work on, Daily, there is at least for me 5-6 crashes and if I need to test more, I would have more. It's random, often happen when I quit the mission and go back to the editor, it would take me there automatically. That is the idea anyway. This happened after the last patch, not the hotfix but the one before it. I hope @BIGNEWY or any of team can check this, sorry for the tag but I can't stand it anymore. dcs.logDxDiag.txt dcs.log-20250607-210652.zipdcs.log-20250607-202456.zipdcs.log-20250607-203821.zip Note : this happens in the loading screen.

solved F5E Remastered is giving missions a false tag
Matt Glover posted a topic in Mission Editor Bugs
after yesterday's update it seems the F5 remastered is giving all missions saved with it present/installed with the: ["requiredModules"] = { ["F-5E 2024"] = "F-5E 2024", } This only started happening after the update and I do know that I can manually remove this by editing the mission file in the .miz but why has this started happening to a DCCS core module? Also if I do edit it out manually I run the risk of other who only have the base DCS not seeing the F5 AI/external module I'm in an instead it getting subbed in for the usual SU33. Example attached but its all missions edited after the update MA_Foothold_IR CAVOK DAY.miz -
After the recent updates and moving my Dedicated Server install to a different SSD because of storage space issues, three of my maps are now not authorized on the dedicated server: -Afghanistan -Sinai -Kola These were working fine prior to the update, and they are still installed in the server's Terrain file structure. DCS repair does not resolve the issue. Terrains work fine on my main client install. No antivirus issues. No symbolic links or anything on the server except for liveries. dcs.log

Hey guys! As the title says : sometimes in ME bomber's won't release their bombs or cruise missiles and they would just start to go back or RTB sometimes. BE AWARE : This does not ALWAYS happen, but sometimes it does, like now for example i'm tryin' to have a B-1B drop some AGM-15C on a location but it won't drop 'em. It always worked but now not. Did ED changed something with last update? I'll leave u the miz down below... I always put FIRST a waypoint VERY close to the bomber and THEN I apply the task. I've put --> perform task / bombing / cruise missiles..it does nothing. I've put --> perform task / bombing /guided bombs..it does nothing. I don't want it on auto cause it will drop only 1 , but I tried auto also and won't drop anything as well. Thanks to anyone helping. P.S. : Dont worry for the title, u dont need F15ex and mig31 mods, I edited it. F15EX VS MIG31 CASE 1miz.miz

Despite the fact that pressed the clock in the map editor, and on the airfields available for editing there are only airplanes of the desired historical period (map Normandy 2.0, the date is respectively 1944), then after starting the mission itself on the airfields can take any aircraft, even a modern type.

After a repair and disabling mods from the manager aside from the base mods, I went to try a SP TTI mission. Managed to takeoff, but the game crashed as I released my fuel tanks frommy F/A-18C. Created a crash file afterward to send to support, but wanted to post here to find any solutions. dcs.20250329-012747.crash dcs.log

I'm sure I dropped them in training mission a bit ago, but now I can't get bombs to come off the plane no matter what I do. Rockets do release (same button) so it's not a binding issue but I've tried different binding too. Changeover set to ON, bombs selected, bomb door open (warning light lit), bombs fused, reticle on. Track attached. Mosquito on the Caucasus map. SOLVED: missed the extra binding "TRIGGER BUTTON (release bomb/guncam on)" that drops bombs. It doesn't show up when filtering for WEAPONS and I guess I missed it when I went through the full list several times.

It started with Windows Defender seeing the F-14 as a Trojan virus. So I simply made the DCS folder as an exclusion in Windows Defender, and the F-14 error message went away upon DCS startup. However, when I ran DCS Repair in "Check all files" mode it found that the F-14 file was a 0 byte file, so I clicked on the option of deleting it. Problem might be solved, but don't know if I can fly it or any other aircraft, because: In DCS, when I move the mouse to Instant Action, Mission, or Settings (etc.) for example, it takes DCS almost 5 seconds to acknowledge that I am pointing at it. I then click on it and it takes another 5 seconds for DCS to acknowledge the actual mouse click. Then, after that, DCS crashed to the desktop. My NVidia driver is 572.42. I know other users are experiencing the same problem in the forums regarding the F-14 issue, but I could not find a post like this one. Any help would be most appreciated.

I just logged in but unlike normal I had to enter my username and password. When I logged in all of my controls are now gone. I have most of the modules and after a long break I returned to dcs a couple of months ago and I was on the way to getting all my controls completed. If I don't get this back I will not be playing again. I hope you can help fix this.

After the last update to DCS, in all eras, with all planes (modern, gold war, ww2), as a client, while you put them in the airports in the ROUTE tab in TYPE in any position that is "hot" and in single player it plays fine, in multiplayer games it always puts them "cold".

Hello, I am fairly new to DCS and have encountered my first issue. After the most recent update (DCS 2.9.13.6818.2), the game is unplayable for me. The issue I have is whenever I press start/fly and every loads in, the FPS begin to slowly drop until its unplayable. They go from being around 150 fps to around 26fps. It does not matter if I start in the air or on the ground they still drop. I also noticed that as the FPS is dropping so is the GPU utilization. The weird thing is, if I crash the aircraft then press F2/F3 to view the other aircraft the frames jump back up to normal again. I have updated my graphics card drivers, played around with the graphics setting within DCS, use different modules, and nothing has improved. Any suggestions? the f14 will not salute at all

I've only just noticed this as I rarely hot start in the Hind of late, but the pitch and roll channels are not engaged now in hot start, at least on the Afghanistan map which results in some rather wild scenarios as I'm sure you can imagine. In some scenarios I can engage them manually but sometimes they wont engage at all in hot start. There are no issues during a cold start. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Hi, my C drive is full and I can't download the new map updates. I have an external E drive and I copied the entire game on the external drive. My concern is what, if any impacts, will there be on the game performance from playing entirely off an external hard drive? Any thoughts? Thanks MLA306

Downloaded 2.9.13.6818 yesterday. It took forever with several connection errors. Managed to take a look at the Afghanistan map and just verify all was OK before going to bed. This evening Windows wouldn't start, and I chose the repair function. Then all was OK again. A few hours ago I launched DCS, but it wouldn't even open the launcher before an error popped up saying I needed to repair. Did this command line clean and repair, and all looked OK again - after downloading 87 GB of data. But, when the Launcher opened it said there was an update. I initially thought it probably was just a small patch on the newest update. But then I saw it wanted to update 151 GB of data. Looking at the log files, the clean+repair had repaired (installed rather) the older version, version 2.9.12.5336.1. So now I'm downloading/installing version 2.9.13.6818 again. I would have thought a much better way would be to repair the newest version ? Anyway 35 minutes left

With both landing lamps (front and rear) lowered and switched on, only the front lamp comes on, but the one behind has got no light. Can the back one be controlled? If so, is there another key bind?

I can set the default Zoom for a mission (LAlt + Numpad0). But I want to set a default zoom factor for an aircraft so that it works any time I spawn in it. It seems like this issue has been present for a long time. Lots of posts but none of the suggestions work for me. I have played with the default view section in the main AND saved games section of the config/views folder. Tried various combinations along with chekcing-unchecking the enable user snap views option. Nothing works for me. I have to customize the default view and Zoom factor everytime I start a new mission. This used to work for many years but I stopped working quite a while ago... Is this a bug or if not - coudl somebody suggest what I could be doing wrong ? Thanks
