Nice stuff GrmlZ. I've been watching your stuff since the WT days. I recorded a bit of my own play the first day it came out. Found it amusing I was knocked unconscious during the landing and when I woke up I had a red-out before dieing.

I found this video on YT while searching for some Komodo Simulations reviews. This guy, with RL helicopter experience, shows very nice low slow flying/hovering. The input box is showing how little input you need to move the Gazelle around.

Yeah, I've flown with Joe (aka WindyPants) a number of times. He is an EXCELLENT pilot. If he says its a challenge, its a challenge.

What mod is that for the map? Looks great.

Here is my attempt at a first flight ;-)

Really well done....one minor thing though. The yellow lever is fuel lever, not throttle. The Gazelle has an auto-throttle system so you don't even worry about throttle.

Great video either way....really like all the technical aspects of everything.

I streamed a bit DCS with the Gazelle today to show it to a fellow DCS pilot.

Took it up against a SA-15 Tor SAM

Hi Poly_Roie

Thank you for your correction (and the compliment), I have added an annotation to the video.

My first Gazelle Video.

First look at the Heli and mission to liberate Cactus springs.

Great video and cool mission. Is it an official mission from Polychop or did you make it for your own?

Playing with cars and trucks. Plus some failures and odd stuff at the end of the video.

Bunyap did a detailed video about the model, electrical system and fuel planning. He will continue the series, it's absolutely worth a look.

Maybe this will help people who have trouble with the Gazelles' handling :)

would the guidance wire not break when you dropped down behind the trees?

Why should it? The target view of the camera was never obscured for more than a fraction of a second (if any time at all) and there was a gap in the trees between me and the target. Yes, I dropped down slightly after the launch but surely the wire isn't so fragile that a light touch would break it?

Well i dont profess to know that is why im asking. Also the wire dispenses from the launch tube not the sensor, so it may not have been clear of the trees.Hoping poly chop will chime in on this

Or someone with real life working knowledge of this weapons system
