Hoggorm Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Hi, I've had great success with replays before, but now I see that when my aircraft taxis out it ends up in a ditch. I still add power etc. as I did it but the aircraft is stuck on the ground. What is going on? Can I fix this? I've tried normal speed, half speed and double speed. All the same, but running the replay again do not produce the same result. I then end up in another ditch... Any help would be appreciated!
razo+r Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 The tracks from DCS are bugged so they won't show you what you've done but something similar... You'd better watch the replays with Tacview or with a recorded video
Hoggorm Posted February 23, 2017 Author Posted February 23, 2017 Thank you for the quick reply. Well I'd love to watch the Tacview recording. Actually, that is what I'm after. Unfortunately, the Blue Flag server do not allow object export so I cannot see anything other than my own aircraft. As far as I can understand the only way for me to see what I hit and what actually happened is to play through the replay (that I really do not look at) and then load the new Tacview file? If you know of a smoother solution, I'd be happy to know it :)

I know that a recent update added nosewheel steering to the Su-27, for instance. That broke any track with that aircraft that required taxiing, etc. YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU1...CR6IZ7crfdZxDg _____ Win 11 Pro x64, Asrock Z790 Steel Legend MoBo, Intel i7-13700K, MSI RKT 4070 Super 12GB, Corsair Dominator DDR5 RAM 32GB.
Hoggorm Posted February 23, 2017 Author Posted February 23, 2017 Which a/c is involved? This is regarding the Viggen
droopy114 Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 This is regarding the Viggen Same here, seems fine with others aircrafts, but if i fly my Viggen, the track is systematically corrupted.

Ironhand Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 If this occurred immediately after an update and it happens to everyone, then something was changed for this aircraft in how it interacts with the ground. I don't own it, so don't have tracks of my own to compare. But any update that changes how the aircraft interacts with the ground (for example, friction coefficient, adding nosewheel steering, etc) will break a track because the current aircraft now reacts differently to the same control inputs. Hoggorm Posted February 25, 2017 Author Posted February 25, 2017 I see... This is the first version of the Viggen for the release version. Guess something is not exactly right yet then...
finch Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 I have a bug also with the spit, tracks are messed, I tried some touch and go just to learn it, when I watched the replay after the first landing I took off, but in the replay the plane goes crazy and crash
Yurgon Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 If this occurred immediately after an update and it happens to everyone, then something was changed for this aircraft in how it interacts with the ground. [...] Good idea, but doesn't seem to be the case. After the latest update to the Viggen, we flew a 3 ship MP mission, and all of the playbacks were corrupted in one way or another immediately after flying (no updates in between). Seems the Viggen is currently even more sensitive to playbacks than DCS already is.
