Having trouble with DCS-BIOS and TekCreations F/A-18C components, after installation of DCS-Bios and configuring it to work with DCS I load everything as per DCS-BIOS instructions, but when in game I don’t have any controls that I should. Using multiple-com-ports as shown: 1 @echo off 2 REM The COMPORTS variable should be set to a space-separated list of COM port numbers: 3 set COMPORTS=13 14 17 3 4 40 5 8 4 5 for %%i in (%COMPORTS%) do start /b cmd /c connect-serial-port.cmd /Q %%i 6 Running script in game returns the following: Anyone have any ideas?

Hi, I'm trying to make a ejection handle for my A-10C. What is the best way to send the command to DCS-Bios? I have used the sendDcsBiosMessage command, but i don't know the argument I need for the ejection handle. Is there a possibility to send keybinds?

I have created an early beta build of the Streamdeck Plugin with DCS BIOS support. You can download and install it from here: https://github.com/enertial/streamdeck-dcs-interface/blob/master/Release/com.ctytler.dcs.streamDeckPlugin First time setup: After downloading and installing the plugin, Create a DCS-BIOS Button Click "Configure" button Click on "Setup" in top right of the "Configure" window and specify path to DCS BIOS installation and click Update. If successful, a table of Control References should populate as seen below. If you don't have DCS BIOS installed there is a link to follow in the Setup window New Feature: This has one new button option: "DCS-BIOS Button" and uses a new User Interface for that button only. There is some limited functionality right now and be warned that newer versions of the DCS-BIOS button may need you to re-create settings until the beta testing period is over. I have kept compatibility with DCS-ExportScript and the plugin can run with both backends at the same time if desired. Please share any comments, suggestions, or bug reports in this thread or submit an Issue on Github. Thanks!

I'm creating a display to show the active frequency on the A4, but unfortunately the code to be entered is wrong, the separator lines (-) are not recognized by arduino ide. void onArc51-freq-xxxxxChange(unsigned int newValue) { /* your code here */ } DcsBios::IntegerBuffer arc51-freq-xxxxxBuffer(0x84c6, 0xffff, 0, onArc51-freq-xxxxxChange); does anyone know how to help me ?

Hello, I have 3 versions of DCS installed (Stable, Steam Stable, and OB), and (I think) because I recently re-installed windows and didn't install the DCS from scratch (because they are huge downloads) there might be some things DCS-BIOS looks for that are not present when it is detecting the installations. What does DCS-BIOS look for to detect DCS installations and make them visible in the DCS-Hub -> DCS Connection screen? I copied the code into export.lua and put it in the saved games\dcs<.openbeta>\Scripts directory but it seemed to have no effect. Also, my saved games is moved out of c:\users\<myname> (using windows's properties->location tab) so it is now R:\Saved Games on a fast SSD. The script snippet seems to have worked that out, but need to work out what DCS-BIOS is looking for to have the installations appear on the connections screen. Cheers Bungo

Super Hornet inspired UFC Control app for the F\A-18C for DCS World. I've been working on this app for a while, since UFCs are difficult to build i decided to make this app and use it with a 8 inch fire HD tablet in my cockpit setup. I added some extra features like the ability to control some of the panels and i currently working on adding a Data Cartridge feature to input way points faster. I tested everything i could and everything seems to be working so far. I would really appreciate if you guys can report bugs back to me. I'm also open for suggestions on extra features to add, etc. For now the APP is only available for Android but I'm in the process of submitting the app to the Apple App Store. Let me Know what you think! Hope you guys Enjoy The APP! INSTRUCTIONS: Video Tutorial: Coming Soon 1- Get The App: Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.embarcadero.HornetUFCDCS iOS https://apps.apple.com/us/app/hornet-ufc-dcs/id1604694496#?platform=ipad 2- Download the lastest release of HornetUFCDCSAppServer from the GitHub Repository https://github.com/AlphaMikeSimulation/HornetUFCDCS/releases 3- Unzip The Content somewhere in your hard drive( Desktop Or C Drive For Example) 4- Copy the DCS-BIOS Folder yo your Scripts folder ( C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts) 5- Edit your export.lua file and add this to the end of the file: dofile(lfs.writedir()..[[Scripts\DCS-BIOS\BIOS.lua]]) 6- Open the HornetUFCDCSAppServer.exe and go to settings and inpiut the IP Address of the Tablet or Phone that you are using for the HORNET UFC DCS App 7- Click in Shutdown Server and Start the server again for the new IP to take effect 8- Open HORNET UFC DCS In your phone or tablet and go to settings, input the IP of the computer that you are using for running DCS World 9- Open DCS World and wait for HornetUFCDCSAppServer status to change status from DCS Not Running To Waiting for DCS... 10- Open any Mission and wait for the HornetUFCDCSAppServer status to change to Connected 11- Now you can control the UFC from your phone or tablet, ENJOY!

Hello flyers. I roll with just a 360 controller but managing a throttle with it isn't very pleasing and after this many landings at incorrect speeds I am in great arrears on account of all the burning wrecks littering the airfield. So, I wanted to drive throttle with one or two sliders (I'm lounging inside an A-10 usually) or perhaps a rocker pedal. After looking at what DCS-BIOS affords I get the impression that what it relies on is focused on inputs for instrumentation and specifically does not include inputs for control surfaces or engine control. Is this correct? I took a different approach, that of making an Arduino microcontroller masquerade as an XInput device, which is well documented. Attaching a potentiometer, mapping voltage to a stick in C and mapping the stick to the throttle in World works nicely (apart from some axis wraparound that is surely fixable). Was this the most expedient approach or did I make this overly complicated?

Hello friends! I wanted to share this project I have been working on. DCS WEB BIOS This project consists of a Web and Socket Servers to provide a Web Interface to communicate with the fantastic DCS World Combat Simulator via the DCS-BIOS package (the DCSFlightpanels fork). Update 2022-06-30 Added: AH-64D Keyboard unit for both Pilot and CPG AH-64D MPDs unit for both Pilot and CPG FC3 F-15 and SU-25 Modes (beta requiring an extra UDP listener installed in DCS, look for instructions in the thread) Update 2022-06-23 Current screens: F-14A and B Displays & Auto Pilot F-16c ICP (with DED) F-16c MFDs F/A-18c UFC (with display feedback) F/A-18c Left and Right DDIs F/A-18c AMPCD Motivation I don't have all the gadgets to have the MFDs or control panels as physical buttons, but I have access to some touch screens (RPi3 with official 7" screen, an iPad, etc.) which I can use to control DCS and avoid having weird interactions with the H.O.T.A.S while reaching for the mouse. I have uploaded a couple of videos showing the system in action: The project is an open source project which can be downloaded and discussed in the Github repo at: https://github.com/RafaPolit/dcs-web-bios Hope there is some interest in the project, looking forward to your suggestions and comments. Best regards, Rafa.
