The radar has a max range of 110 kms (60 nm). The graphic is just a representation of the search cone and the seeker head inside the cone.

Well indeed, contrary to what we have on FSX the max radar screen setting is 80Nm.

Target detection range depends on target RCS.

You can expect to detect a Tu-95 Bear at 80Nm head on...

- Radar

- Weapons integration with the radar

- RWR and ECM

- Bombs: CCIP and CCRP modes

- ASMs (Exocet and ARMAT).

- Radio communications

- Navigation

- Battle damage

But the most complex item is the radar. Many things depend on a fully operational radar.

Do you have "show stopping blocks" in Radar development Zeus? Or the development is going steady as planned?

Also, since other teams are developing their own radar (ED and LNS) isn't a viable solution to license theirs if your own development costs would be too high?

This is looking very, very promising!

Really glad to hear that you're gonna give it Exocet and Armat! A DCS multi-role plane in 2015? Colour me amazed. :)

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Radar integration and battle damage aren't easy, and they haven't said anything about a release date. I think 2015 might be a bit ambitious.

Actually they did say multiple times that they're looking at 2015 release.

Oh very nice looking so far, I have a feeling this will definitely be a popular module once it's released.
