The hability to draw lines, geometrical forms, military signs and write letters and numbers on the map while creating a mission will add a lot to the sim. If you add such hability during the briefing part it will add even more as the players will be able to take notes on their maps after reading the briefing, things like suspected SAM sites, objectives areas, suspected enemy apropaches etc. It's even more important for CA users. Hope is not very hard to add and we can see this feature soon.

BTW it will also give the players the hability to draw new "frontlines" for maps so we can simulate countries on the map (specially important for incoming Nevada).

An example.

No one is interested in this feature? I really think it will add a lot, specially when a CA commander can write lines so others players can see how the operations will unfold.

someone and also me already asked this for CA whishlist some times ago.

I could be really useful if we could write some layers over the map offline and online (offline to be loaded after while in game).

The thing is, helicopters are different from planes. An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.

Still waiting for the North arrow...

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
