"Rare" (DCS) color shots of "Red1" from the Galland Circus of JV 44, flown by Leutnant Heinz "Heino" Sachsenberg, 1945.

 

In case anybody is wondering - the slogan that's painted on the side of Red1 is "Verkauft's mei Gwand, I fahr in Himmel" (sell my clothes, I go to heaven), which is a line from a song that's sung to a melody by Johann Strauss.

When I eject my pilot his equipment is modern like the A-10C pilot but when I look your screenshot during the ejection the stuff of your pilot is old.

I have to say, the Fw190 is a lot of fun to fly. Still working on the landings but I will get it down one of these days. She is more than a handful for the P51 if you stay high and fast. This is really tempting me to learn the P51 now. Here are a few shots from one of my encounters with the P51.

I installed SweetFx today and OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH MMMMYYYY, what a big difference it makes in DCS. Here is proof.

That's when you upload your screenshots as an attachment to the forum here, instead of hosting it with a third-party.

I understand how to do that, but when I attach through the Forum I get thumbnail size. When I use "Insert Image" button I get the next size up from thumbnail. How do you get the pictures that has the Yellow border at the top that you click on and it enlarges the size again, and how do you control how big the picture gets. I have seen some that if you click them, they fill the whole width of the page. I don't understand how to do this???:helpsmilie:

I don't know what it is but I just find the Dora a really ugly airplane. It looks like somebody put a 190 on the rack and stretched it. Can't wait for the 109 a much more aesthetically pleasing aircraft.

BF109 and the Spitfire are the ugliest planes in my opinion. Love the look of the Dora, Mustang, and P47 but we all have our favorites.
