I need a new rig, it's getting time !

 

When I look at all your pics I can see what I can't see, a nice looking Sim with details, TREES, GRASS ( ok, the grass I can skip )...the detail...

 

I am running it all LOW and some MID..... GTX-970 and a 4GHz i7.....SOOON

 

I just can't wait to fly like this myself, having responsive controls and not feel bound to slow helicopters as those are the only ones I can actually combat with.

 

Gonna post a few pics so you know how some others fly, scaled down expectations and still it's fun. The graphics only help a game that is good in it self, you just can't live on graphics alone, DCS can live very well with lower graphics and still make lots of fun, one must just not look at your detailed pics,...and rivets...and DARN !!!

I think you (we) should wait for EDGE. After first launch of v2.0, I'll decide what I'll do; a new system (like yours) or keep going current one...

BitMaster, thanks very much for posting this. We know the server isn't perfect, but it's great to see that people are enjoying it and using it as intended - it makes it worth doing.

I couldn't wait for multiplayer cockpits anymore, so after tagging along in Juhuja's Huey, we devised a plan how to get me into the space behind the pilot in the F-15, and hilarity ensued!

 

The plan was I eject and land on top of a building, whereby Juhuja park underneath, having first blown his canopy off. Then I simply jump down into the open cockpit and when I'm inside he repairs it and voilá, we have a Strike Eagle!!!

 

It didnt work out so well. I don't know how to pull out the replay so what you get is a small gallery of photos I took at the results of our experiments!

 

EDIT: Oops missed a few pictures of the strike eagle, two albums. Because lazy!

Yeah, but it's a strange file-type. and if I try to view them tracks in-game weird things happen! :P

 

It is fun! Shame only how you can walk around and stuff with your pilotguy but nobody else can see you. I want helicopters coming and rescuing me after I've ejected over enemy territory! :(

Is it just me or is the server down half the time if not more? Noticed since the most recent update. I keep starting the game only to not find it in the list.
