So who wants to buy the F-86 Sabre module right now?

 

The poll concerns the F-86 Sabre module at it's current price, which is $15, a 70% discount (original price was $50)!

It's not asking for free stuff, but for stuff at the price it's on sale...

I'm pretty sure they knew that there would be a huge demand at that price. Thats why they probably limited the amount of keys available for the Flash Sale.

I'd definitely pick it up for $15. Not sure if Belsimtek is just out of keys for some reason or if they actually limited the number they would sell at that price but at this point I figure I'll just wait until the next sale to buy it.

ED claim that they are willing to sell us the Sabre at 70% off but they don't... that's the issue.

 

If you REALLY want it, then it must be worth full price. Of course the Sabre will come into it's own once there is a Korean map.

 

Everyone doesn't have unlimited money.

Wild speculation is that they only had a certain amount of keys to sell and never said so because they thought no one would be interested in buying the Sabre... or malfunctions.

Actually the "Wild Speculation" is not believing the simple fact that they ran out of keys due to higher than anticipated sales...

 

Unfortunately, this is the real world where dishonest people steal the work of honest people. Because of this we are all stuck with DRM (Digital Rights Management) Customers HATE DRM because it is a pain in the ass and the software developers hate it because it is difficult to setup and administer. The complexity adds cost to the final product as well and no one likes that..

Until the World turns into a Utopia, devs will have to continue to take great lengths to protect their hard work and this means things such as complex key creation. They batch keys according to expected sales and when sales greatly exceed these expectations they run out..

 

There is no conspiracy here, just $hit happens.. Do any of you work in the real world? If you do you can probably think of a 100 different similar examples of $hit happens right now.. None of which are some wild conspiracy to keep the Sabre out of your hands or to filch your hard earned money.. Turn the paranoia down a notch please...

 

Do you really believe that ED wants to pi$$ everyone off and NOT sell the module they put their efforts into?

 

GOOD GOD, give us all a break and have some patience.. They will replenish the keys and you will get your Sabre on sale...

Its a simple shortage of keys, I am sure they will replenish as soon as they can, no need to don the tin foil hats right now...

People, if you have this much paranoia, delusions or just detachment from how real world operates then go see a doctor.

 

It does not make any sense to have a product but not sell it to customers on purpose.

Relax, it's just technical issue which they'll sort out sooner or later.
