Igor4U
Slight Conflict (about Pylons) between the MiG-21 Operator's Manual and the DCS World Mission Editor. The Manual refers to: Pylons 1 & 2 as the Inboard Pylons (surmise 1 is Left and 2 is Right) and Pylons 3 & 4 as the Outboard Pylons (surmise 3 is Left and 4 is Right) The Mission Editor for MiG-21 Ordnance shows: Pylons 1 & 5 Outboard Pylons 2 & 4 Inboard Pylon 3 Center-line Pylons numbered Left to Right (1 to 5) So I'm guessing Weapons Troops (IYAAYAS) load the SCLs IAW Pylon designations 1 thru 5; while Pilots select and expend Ordnance as shown on page-129 (the Pylon and Weapons Selector Knob (CU7) as Pylons 1 & 2 (Inboard) and 3 & 4 (Outboard)

FishBike
You have it right. The mission editor correctly shows the physical location that stores will be loaded on, but the numbers shown there do not match the station numbers selected from the cockpit. Kuky
Well you don't really need numbers in mission editor as you have visual representation where you are loading the weapons. In cockpit is where you need to know what station is which number (as in the real thing) No longer active in DCS...
Hadwell
The mission editor shows ALL external stores, the mig-21 only has 4 "weapon" pylons. there's an exeption to every rule, except for the rule that there's an exception to every rule... in this case it's that you can carry a weapon in the center pylon... nukes, and i think some mig-21's carried a gun pod there?
