Unfortunately, 'the A-10' has a number of capabilities that are not modeled in the sim. :)

ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme 8GB, Corsair HX1000i, Phillips BDM4065UC 40" 4k monitor, VX2258 TouchScreen, TIR 5 w/ProClip, TM Warthog, VKB Gladiator Pro, Saitek X56, et. al., MFG Crosswind Pedals #1199, VolairSim Pit, Rift CV1

I guess it cannot carry the old AGM45, I thought it would but I can find no reference to the A10 carrying any anti radiation weapon.

So now we need F4G's more than ever hopefully carrying AGM 45's or better:music_whistling:

Other option is to use the Su-25T, it has SEAD capability.

thanks Sarge, I have never paid much attention to the Su-25, I primarily enjoy the Helicopters of the sim, but with the reduced ability to survive around SAMs in heli's I am venturing into the fixed wing side to try to learn something about SEAD, so far all I have learned is it is real easy to die if you don't know where the SAM is and you don't see the launch.

Thanks for the input.

We will get a DCS-level (PFM/ASM) SEAD-platform when the F/A-18 Hornet comes out.

I also wonder if the KA-50 can use the anti-radar version of the Kh-25 (AS-12 Kegler) in real life?

SEAD

I would VERY much love a NATO aircraft capable of SEAD missions. Did I say VERY much, because I MEAN VERY MUCH!!!!

The Kh-25 is much too heavy to be employed from a helicopter.

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.

So DCSW is unrealistic in that regard? Because in DCSW the Ka-50 can carry the Kh-25ML

the MPU version... plus you need the equipment to use it.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
