I obviously can't speak for the deceased pilot but I imagine he was there to pioneer something he thought would benefit us in the future, so yes, keep it going if possible and dedicate his memory.....hopefully the only one. Achievements and sacrifices in this area are, in my eyes, at least as heroic and respectable as any combat pilot's.
