Hi Les,

that's great!

It depends on a community request and support. You are the first who asked for Dirt Rally.

Support for Dirt Rally would be awesome! Same for Project Cars and Live for Speed

Guys, a new version of SimShaker for DCS World and Falcon BMS is available.

http://dreamsimteam.blogspot.ru/2016/05/simshaker-for-dcs-world-and-falcon-bms.html

Andre,

my SimShaker is not updating.

I have the 3 in 1 version. Should it update or the new update is only for the DCS and BMS one?

PS; How about Simshaker for Project Cars? Is it coming? :D

OK. Thank you for the info.

I'm about to start SimShaker - Wheels project.

What do you think about R3E? Is it popular?

yeeeeaaa!

Well, I had to look up R3E means Raceroom which I also know only by name.

Im no expert concerning Race games but I used to play lot of LFS years ago.

The makers of LFS may also be the most helpful guys if you want to get in touch with the devs.

Most popular right now seem to be Dirty Rally, Project Cars and AC.

DR would be great because VR is almost back there and effects would be better for a rally game as for street racing. Project Cars seems to have a big player base and the got VR support this week. AC has no VR support so far :/

Andre, not sure if this was covered before.

I'm currently working a flap based g-seat / x-sim tacktile feedback seat simulating g forces. Vibration seems like a good to that and I did look at butckiker. but instead of vibrating the entire platform I was thinking to embed number of shaker motors onto the foam of my seat. Is there a way to interface your software with such DIY shaker solution, contrlled via arduino perhaps? Your thoughts on the matter ?

Thanks.

Anton.

Hi Anton,

it's a good idea about shaker motors, but JetSeat is not arduino-based, so I don't think an easy way for the integration.

Anton I just pulled the motors and control board from my Jetseat to mount into the foam of my G-seat project. I plan to run Simshaker for the vibration motors and have already started setting up my Arduino driven flaps using xsimulator (Sim tools). I'll let you know how it works out.

Thanks Frusheen, may have borrowed that idea from somewhere or I would guess it is quite common track of though :) I'm definitely looking at your solution. On my side I reworked the bottom flap geometry and moving towards putting all the mechanics in. So wanted to clear this topic out before I move to upholstering.

Well, I do not expect a plug and play. Is there any way for me to expose the signals to motors from your software so I can build the power part of it myself? In case software is locked to the jetseat itself , can I order the controller board itself (I would guess you will have a contact with gametrix ). Thanks.

Anton.

I didn't know you were so far along! You should update your build thread! I had to rework the geometry of my backrest as well. I was sinking back into the seat which was realistic for acceleration forces but on deceleration getting pushed back out again felt all wrong. There should be no pressure on the back in that case. It's working better now.

Sorry to derail your thread Andre. Anton.... More updates!

It all started out really neat and tidy as I removed the stitches with a scalpel blade.... only to discover the motors and internals had all received a healthy dose of fabric adhesive (like the stuff used to glue down carpets) so I had to butcher it. Haha

Mine Seat is one of the first version, so I'm not sure if it is the same for newest models.

But still - adapter output data 12V 1000mA direct current

Всех убью, один останусь!

Can someone look on there gametrix power adaptor and give me the specs please?

Input 100 - 240v

Output 12v 1 amp.
