Well, I do not expect a plug and play. Is there any way for me to expose the signals to motors from your software so I can build the power part of it myself? In case software is locked to the jetseat itself , can I order the controller board itself (I would guess you will have a contact with gametrix ). Thanks.

 

Anton, I think the controller board would work.

I can try to get it for you, but that may take significant time.

I suggest that Frusheen has choosen the easiest way.

Got my seat yesterday two weeks after ordering, and oh boy was it worth the wait.

 

The sensation that you get from the various effects is superb, and Andre's support and communication throughout the whole process was flawless.

 

Works great with Assetto Corso too, and I'm looking forward to what other magic that this man can do in the future, but for anyone on the fence, buy it. Best investment I've made since my Track IR and TM Warthog!

Funny thing is, when the wow factor fades away a bit you'll find that you'll have come to rely on the extra feedback quite a bit. I don't have to look at my gauges to see that my engine didn't start: I'll know because I didn't feel the motor starting. I now notice that my bomb didn't come off the rails not because I didn't hear it coming off, but because I didn't feel it falling off. I don't have to look at my airbrakes, because if they were up I'd feel it. Also, I don't rely on the stall warning so much anymore because the plane will start shaking before the stall warning goes off.

 

So yeah, the wow factor will diminish a bit but besides this being a cool immersion factor, the feedback is actually usefull and if you're not carefull you'll start relying on it :thumbup:.

I agree it's almost hard to fly without it, just like the Tracker IR, really adds to the immersion factor.

+1 Jealous of two week delivery. Mine is 7+ weeks and counting.

 

I think I just got lucky with the mail, but I'm certainly not complaining :) a friend of mine also in Australia ordered his at the same time and is still waiting much to his disgust!

I have decided on one of these for my 50th birthday present. Apart from ordering one what other things do I need to do?

 

I have an office type PC chair with arms, is this suitable

Do I need to use USB or the speaker connectors.

How is it powered.

Is the software bundled or is it to purchase too?

Do I have to pay for warthunder tokens or whatever they are
