As a mod this is nice, but I would much rather time be spent on more fruitful pursuits. The mod worked just fine.

could you paste the content of optionsDb.lua and optionsData.lua in MiG-21bis/option/ folder?

Or LN does not enable it for OB version.

 

 

As a mod this is nice, but I would much rather time be spent on more fruitful pursuits. The mod worked just fine.

 

That script implementation costs little time, so I believe they don't need to spend too much time on it.

I found it uses checkbox not drop-down list (I don't why changelog says drop-down list).

You should first check the checkbox, then copy/paste the texture files w/ description.lua to Livery/MiG-21_CP/custom folder

My Mig-21 Cockpit is dead.

 

No warning lights, no caution lights, no instrument movement, no dials movement, no neddles. Anything.

 

All makes sound and it seems working but the cockpit instruments/lights/dials are dead.

have you checked the custom cockpit?

just checked both ru/en cpt, everything works completely fine as usual.

have you copy/paste old config files from dcs to dcs.openbeta?

Clean Open Beta install without anything. Also i´ve running a Open Beta Repair.

what about deleting mig-21 in ob, and then completely reinstall it from module manager? Thats how I installed all modules for ob

I have the same 'dead cockpit' issue with the 1.2.12 OB. Did not have time to repair / re-install but will try that tonight.

It was partially solved when I checked the box for Custom Cockpit Texture Support in the Options->Special->Mig-21bis tab.

 

I still can't find the drop down menu where I can choose between the cockpits... but at least the Russian cockpit works now.

Same issue here. Vanilla DCS. Dead cockpit many times (BTW you could start the engine with no problem, but nothing works)

Attach the log files please.

 

As a temporary fix, try moving the

 

 

X:\Users\______\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Options.lua

 

 

file to some backup location, and try to run DCS. You might need to set up your option again.
