=Mac= Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Got to go to work, damn it! I'm late because of all this! Love it being released in beta. Landing gear won't map to the Warthog HOTAS. Neither will the flaps. Speed brake is mapped correctly. Stick shaker and light scared the hell out of me! Thought it was the gun! Thanks AvioDevs!!!! Keep up the good work. The Hornet is best at killing things on the ground. Now, if we could just get a GAU-8 in the nose next to the AN/APG-65, a titanium tub around the pilot, and a couple of J-58 engines in the tail...

They all mapped just fine for me. First impressions - an excellent addition. One thing I did notice was that the quick start manual isn't in the docs folder where we usually find it. Just as well I had downloaded it from the thread here. Excellent work Aviodev, looking forward to the CC and AFM!
purpi Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Congratulations on the release and excellent module for DCS, now it buy it and enjoy it.
Mode1961 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Hmmm, purchased, Downloaded, but won't install. my normal (non beta) install didn't update . Never mind, deleted the TEMP dir, and now it updates
Tango Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 Pleased you're enjoying it!! :D 8) The stall warning system is getting your attention then! ;) :D Best regards, Tango.
Gixxuki Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 First of all congrats to your whole team! But can someone answer the question why they wanna implement an AFM and not an PFM/EFM like in the MiG, P-51, A10C etc, or is it just a misunderstanding? If it´s gonna be an EFM/PFM I´ll pruchase the bird now.

Any FM they do will be EFM (external flight model), depending on how complex it is, it will determine if its AFM or PFM, PFM being the more complex. I think they said they are going AFM, which is still very good. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
Neon67 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 the c-101 module did get the dcs label and not "for dcs" like the hawk. What is the difference between those two modules if I may ask ?
ED Team NineLine Posted January 21, 2015 ED Team Posted January 21, 2015 Probably a typo... far as I know it wouldnt get that title till the EFM is done... Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
Vivoune Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 (edited) Oh yea, the stall alarm isn't an alarm, it's a Jackhammer, plain & simple. Damn it's been so long since I've flown a SFM, it feels so weird, I almost forgot how bad transition from ground to air or air to ground is. Anyway, the plane looks gorgeous, the GPU is a really nice touch, I'm very satisfied with the in-cabin sounds too (except for the stall alarm ugh), it really sounds like real cabin sounds with that strong ventilation and pressurisation that almost every other modules just ignores completely. Looking forward to the improved flight model! Edited January 21, 2015 by Vivoune [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Tango Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 (edited) why you up the price at 59$ when the mig21 and other is at 49$? CC version has approximately 80% systems commonality with EB, and our modeller has to create an almost completely new cockpit for it, so we thought it reasonable to charge a little bit more. You get 2 aircraft for 1.2x the price. We think that is a fair deal. :) Note however that it is currently on discount at $41.99. A bargain! Best regards, Tango. Edited January 21, 2015 by Tango
Calman Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I think it is a really good price! I cant wait for my wallet to be full enough to buy it:lol: "Failure is always an option and landing is always optional." -Cal the Almighty -Founder of the Pandas -Callsign: Mother Warning: Prolonged exposure to DCS Forums may cause tourettes syndrome. I hate to sound like a cheapskate, however South African Rand into $ is hectic. I do think the price is good. I do however have a coupon (Track IR purchase). Can I use it for the c-101 now? Congrats on finally putting it out there. Regards....Alex [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
NeilWillis Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 You'll not be able to use the coupon for 2 reasons. First - it is already discounted. Also, the discounts apply only to ED products, not third party offerings.
