I was playing Syrian power abs all throughout I get messages about what ai has taken off or landed and where they are going to.   I wanted to turn these off.

I also get messages using the rat script about ai taking off and landing.

I commented in my .lua file but i still get the messages too. Need to check to proper line of command.

A few updates ago it was possible to remove those ATC text messages with F10 key. Now via only by command line in your .lua file.

 - "Don't be John Wayne in the Break if you´re going to be Jerry Lewis on the Ball".

About carrier ops: "The younger pilots are still quite capable of holding their heads forward against the forces. The older ones have been doing this too long and know better; sore necks make for poor sleep.'

May then ask the mission author rather than here?

He can edit the .lua file adding RAT:ATC_Messages(switch) to the script. (switch will be TRUE of FALSE).

Is it not a base moose function?

The main script is huge and I'm not that good at coding to work out what needs changing.

RAT is a basic Moose class. The other callouts could be made in various other ways. There’s no generic mute switch 😉

That Discord link is broken.

I did have a question about adding ATIS to a mission. I have the sound files loaded properly into the miz file. I'm getting hung up on scripting. I made a script using what was posted on the Github as a template. It always faults out during the mission load with:

function arguments expected near ':'

I have a trigger set to engage at mission start to run the script file. Here is the script I typed up:

If you're using Moose, commands almost never start with small caps, it should be SetRadioRelay.. SetTACAN and SetTower ...

"Operation Gaucho" Multiplayer Mission.

This mission uses newer Moose Classes and Text-To-Speech conversion via SRS extensively.

The video demonstrates some key speech outputs. Voices generated with Google TTS

I downloaded this mission from the Moose github. It is a simple mission where a cargo is supposed to load onto a vehicle. When i run it, the cargo never moves. Can someone look at it and tell me why?

Is it possible to use the draw tool, to create callable zones using MOOSE? Or, is that something I would still have to use late activated units for?

And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.

Yes, we just added that feature. Polygon zones are automatically created from polygons added with the draw tool.

Hello all,

I was wondering if there is a possibility via Moose to limit the bank angle and climb angle of an AI aircraft. I am planning to develop a Formation and Tactical Turn Trainer, but I want the AI to fly a bit more smooth. I already had a look, but couldn't find anything.

Thanks for your help.

I don't believe you'll find any way to do this with Moose or any other scripting method. Just not possible.

Is it possible to control airplane type specific settings through scripting, such as which weapon station is used for an A-10, broadcasting the target, latching on to a target from another plane, etc?

If so, what is the object that exposes these properties and which are the classes representing the different planes to cast this object as?

Thanks!

Is it possible with the MOOSE version of CTLD to spawn, load, drop and unpack crates using vehicles in combined arms.

I came across this video that uses DSMC's CTLD to do it (although comments there say that CTLD is now no longer part of DSMC) and was wondering if MOOSE has the same or similar capability?

 Hi Developers,

Would like to request a added TASK to escort / follow enemy aircraft as a task option.

Now one can ONLY follow or escort a plane from the same coalition

BLUE AI -> Task : Follow / Escort -> RED AI.

If there IS a way to do this bypassing the basic option by script or any other way, please add in the comment.

Thanks.

RWC.
