Call911 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 This gonna be huge, remember standing in line for Return of The Jedi, if they (Disney) pull this off gonna be another awsome trilogy. Like how there bringing back the original characters.

You would be surprised at what you can program a food replicator to make. :P EDIT: You know, lack of bathrooms is a great creative stimulus. :megalol: Edited April 17, 2015 by cichlidfan ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! FlyingHighAU Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Judging by the amount of fan service shown in the trailer, this looks like another typical hollywood cash grab that relies heavily on repeating the popular bits from the other movies. How about a sequel that stands up well on it's own? Remember those? :)

FlyingHighAU Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 (edited) And you judge books by their covers as well huh ;) I do by the blurb on the back :P I'm just tired of all of the reboots of the last 15 or so years, and it's become blatantly obvious that a computer algorithm is main driving force of the script of movies these days, in order to squeeze as much profit as they can out of it. While it's a safer way to do business than having an artistically driven movie, it makes for pretty generic movie experience. But I hope to be pleasantly surprised :) Edited April 17, 2015 by FlyingHighAU

sobek Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 I remain cautiously pessimistic about this one. Fool me once... Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
Demon_ Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 I had almost the same reaction about the kickstarter. :D Attache ta tuque avec d'la broche.
sobek Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Let's keep the humor A-rated... Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
Lucas_From_Hell Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 So far the trailer is a let down for me. Looks like another Avengers-type action movie with little development but loads for flashy stuff. I'd love to be proven otherwise, but Disney hasn't treated Marvel too well lately and I doubt Star Wars will be different.
Suchacz Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Epic! Was that Luke? I mean the one with the robotic hand, fondling R2D2... Per aspera ad astra! Crucial reading about DCS: Black Shark - Black Shark and Coaxial Rotor Aerodynamics, Black Shark and the Trimmer, Black Shark – Autopilot: Part 1, Black Shark – Autopilot: Part 2
USSInchon Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Epic! Was that Luke? I mean the one with the robotic hand, fondling R2D2... yes...yes it is, and Han, and Chewie, and R2D2, and whats up with Wilson from Castaway rolling around in the movie?
OnlyforDCS Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Chewy's looking pretty good for a wookie that age. Not a single gray hair in all that fur. Can't say the same about Han though :smilewink: Current specs: Windows 10 Home 64bit, i5-9600K @ 3.7 Ghz, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB Samsung EVO 860 M.2 SSD, GAINWARD RTX2060 6GB, Oculus Rift S, MS FFB2 Sidewinder + Warthog Throttle Quadrant, Saitek Pro rudder pedals.

I am pretty excited about this one if only to see the original cast in action. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
leafer Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 I got goosebumps watching the trailer. ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
Zzenith Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Am not sure what to think after the horrible last 3 films that Lucas spat out. The only saving grace for this one as far as Iam concerned is the fact the JJ Abrahams is directing it but I guess it all depends on how much lee way Disney give him. It looks good but... we'll have to wait and see

How about a sequel that stands up well on it's own? Remember those? :) Well yeah because we all want a sequel that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the original and does not share any of the former magic at all... "Pride is a poor substitute for intelligence."
