Funny story, the TelemFFB is derived from my SimSaker.lua... I found some comments in that file:

-- FC3 Plane sends to SimShaker

However, I found some hints how to get the RPM values for the Spitfire. New beta is incomming...

Beta 2.7.2 is out...

I've been trying out Beta 2.7.2 today on the Spitfire and it has been working great.  Thanks!

@f4l0 Hey, may I ask you something? In what frequency range does SSM operate and does it incorporate a low-pass-filter and if so what is the cut-off frequency (approx.)?

I wonder if a simple amplifier without any cut-off-filters is a disadvantage when using bass shakers....

Thank you!

Hey,
Most samples are in 20 - 60 Hz range. The samples can be changed by users.
SimShaker Sound Module doesn't  incorporate a low-pass-filter.

Hello @=Andre=

I‘d like to adjust the samples used for the AH-64D module for my personal preferences. How do I know which are just by SSA for the Apache?

I‘m using SSA 2.7.2 and soundmodule 2.38.

Hello,

Well, most of the samples are in use for more than one DCS module.

There are descriptions in the Sound Module dropdown list for every sample. If you are still in a doubt,  you can check in the SSA log which samples are being called.

Hopefully this helps.

@=Andre=

I have edited some of the files. The new sample adjustable feature is really nice if you have more than one bassshaker. It‘s also nice there‘s not need now for the asio driver.

Just wanted to say thanks for your work 👍

Hey In the Simshaker program we noticed that Ground Roll is currently broke. it shows in the test screen something is playing but no kicker is engaged. and yes all the other sounds I tested seem to work fine so it is not my buttkicker..

A user noticed there is no effect on takeoff on a carrier so maybe the ground roll was when used to be felt??

Thnx

So, you can see at the Sound Module Test tab during the taxiing that the Ground Roll effect is being played but you can't feel it, right?

well Actually we were wondering if there is supposed to be an buttkicker effect when taking off on the carrier?? I played a mission on carrier takeoff but did not feel any rumble and was wondering if the ground roll was supposed to be the carrier takeoff sound effect.

It works when I test it just no effect when taking off from a carrier..

Basically, it should work on a carrier as well, but carrier case is a bit complicated one in terms of ground effects due to the currier own movement.

The common issue with carriers is that the effect may be felt even when the aircraft is standing still.

If I want to update SSA, can I simply install the new beta, or do I have to uninstall or delete something first?

More reliable way is to simply uninstall the previous version first as Microsoft installer tends to keep as much old files as possible. Sometimes it may cause issues.

And don't forget to backup your SSA settings via its File menu before you uninstall.

I've also had the problem for a long time that the buttkicker doesn't react to the catshoot.

I have now uninstalled and reinstalled the Simshaker sound module and SSA.
and the catshoot works exactly once.
On the next flight and on all subsequent flights, the catshoot no longer works.
in the F 14 and the F 18.
it would be nice if someone could explain to me what the problem is. Because it's simply nicer with Buttkicker!
By the way, all other actions work and are passed on to the Buttkicker.

The catshoot is detected in SSA, not in the Sound Module

I'm not sure I can help you with this at the moment. I'm sorry.

SimShaker Sound Module version 2.42 is available for download as stable

Hi guys,

New in this version:

Added: missing samples for G Feeling Effect Combined with Rotor Whirl (Helos only).
h_2_0_1_LS.wav
h_2_0_1_RS.wav
h_2_0_1_LB.wav
h_2_0_1_RB.wav
Feel free to customize the samples as described in the User Guide if needed.

Fixed: a crash in some cases when ASIO mode is selected.

Updated: ASIO mode checkbox will be hidden if not selected as this feature is obsolete;

Updated: landing gear samples to eliminate a loud slam sound at puck type bass-shakers
p1_7_0_1.wav
p2_7_8_L.wav
p2_7_8_N.wav
p2_7_8_R.wav
You can return the old samples by this link.

Updated: limiting compressor feature now processes information for every channel individually.

As usual you can download this new version following this link.

VirusTotal check report (0/96) for this installation file can be found here.

I recommend uninstalling the previous version of the application before you install the new one.

Happy flying!
