I heard Master Arms were working on something called MARS which incorporates usage of the airplanes & choppers frequencies and radio systems. Not sure where it stands, but if it is ready to be used for in game voice comms, it would be amazing to add to the campaign! Guys from 373rd squad are asking help, but we can't do this, 'cause time to rich MinVody is 15 to 10 minutes on a fighter with afterburner. There should be more helipads, because it takes a lot of time to fly and drop that troops to capture something. And when you are reaching your destination, your chance to be killed is rising. After all these 40 minutes of flying. Third issue is how it is easy to capture\attack enemy airdromes, bases, etc. When I was playing in similar projects, it took at least one week to win the game in case of full enemy absence. Jacks Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 I would love to see the addition of a SAR script so if a certain number of aircraft take off in a row without retuning to bases, then no fixed wing aircraft cannot spawn at that airfield until some helicopters have rescued a number of downed pilots in the local area. This would be great flying for the helo pilots and stop people banging out once they are out of weapons or low on fuel instead of RTB. This in turn will lead to more gaps in the CAPs which should allow for more fluid gameplay and less of the 40 minute min helo ride just to get shot down complaints. Also this will force teams to manage their weapons and fuel better and coordinate when players RTB. Darkwolf Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 On behalf of the Projekt Vodka, thank you for all the efforts and the hosting. That was a fun event, despite our clear outnumbering. A few note from our point of view on the future : 1. Outnumbering Outnumbering was a major issue here, however that was the only way out of the campaign. 2. Squadron allocation Squadron allocation was an issue too. Some airfield were completely booked and they were undefendable/locking paks. I suggest to simply get rid of the plane reservation. Just password lock the server and put the code on the website campaign map. lonewolf will still be able to join, but only if they have a look into the campaign, no only random joining. Example 1 : PAK1 had fighters only available in Anapa. All other slots were booked. that was definitively a long ride to defend maykop area, while other could take off from soshi. Example 2 : Eastern Pak was taken by blue on day 7, it was impossible to take it back. They is a huge gap between western pak and eastern pak, and the only airfield in the middle was all 373. 3. Original Airfield plane set Due to the limitation of the ground defense, i suggest to drastically size down the PGM/SEAD capable planes down, and add regular Su-25 / A-10A to the campaign. At least, use warehouse system to reduce amount of PGM available per hour. An su-25T can carry 16ATGM along with 2 Kh-58, fuel tanks and rockets. That's enough to clear a base. For example : Home bases would host the "modern plane", with Su-27/F-15 fighters, and A-10C/Su-25T strikers. Captured airfield would feature Mig-21, F-86, A-10A, Su-25A, L-39 & others armed trainers That would value airfield capture and allows point defense. I would also recommend to remove the heavier Kh-58U from the campaign. That one is overkill against the tiny airdefenses. Removing of plane assignation per squadron would free the slots for this. 4. server restart Server restart is an issue. It is obviously mandatory, you wouldn't do it otherwise. :P 1/ Can server restart time be displayed on website map ? 2/ Can server save the ground unit status ? that's annoying to suppress an airfield and then server crash. 5. weather and atmosphere As the server restart every few hours, can we get some night / bad weather rotation ? Remember that clouds needs to be either full 8/8 clouds or absolutely clear, as single cloud position isn't broadcasted on MP games. 6. My ping is around 315 to server so I guess thats it for me.

On the last night of the campaign, I flew my Huey from the Sochi-Maykop FARP to Maykop, then on to the two Krasnodar airfields, then Krymsk, then Anapa, then Novorossiysk and then finally Gelendzhik for the final blow. That was a loooooooong ass flight, with certain legs repeated several times due to various mishaps, but long, tense flights in a vulnerable aircraft is really exciting, and it forces the team to work together because the helo is so valuable; if it dies, it might be an hour before he can get back to the same place. I don't know, I've only been flying helos for five days, so maybe I'm missing the point??

I fly UH-1H exclusively for red side and i love the tension and sense of urgency to get where you going in one piece. Yesterday i flew from Mozdok to Tblisi at a mind-boggling 110kts and it was amazing! More importantly, it takes good planning and coordenation to make good use of all your assets, as it should be. That last night it was about 6-10 on red vs about 50 on blue side and we menage to hold for all those hours. Like Teknetinium said, the balance of power was like in 1999. when Nato attacked Serbia. Blue side could not take our base while we were there, only when we left the server blue had opened door to progress. In those hours on our ts channel we talked in English, Serbian, Bulgarian, Greek, Spanish and Russian at the same time and each task is executed almost flawlessly. I can not name anyone because i was afraid that i would leave out someone and i not want to do that. Our real enemy was our number streight and the possibility of infinite respawn because it happened to one and the same blue man was took down by 5 times or more. In that case maybe admins can do something to reduce number of respawns and in that way improve the way of playing on this server. We can have for examle 3 respawns per day for every player. In that case people would have a different approach to the situation and they would not fly as kamikazee and died at 10 or more times only in order to take a single base... Admins you done great job with this server and i hope you will improve it and made it more realistic.. CHEERS !!!!!

Even though we lost the first war I hope that both sides did not have time to be bored or think that this was a easy campaign. From a Lonewolf's perspective I have to ad that I have learned a lot of new stuff, and more important - A lot of nice people from around the globe. Thank you to all Squads/Wings and Lonewolf's out there to help make this fun, even for a noobie like my self.
