crash with IA vs IA

 

if I make AI troupes vs AI troupes I have a crash

 

I joint files crash DCS and mission.miz and logs

 

my config : I7 4790 4GHz RAM 16Go graphic card : GTX 980 and GTX 780 and 2 SSD 120 Go

Thanks looks like the DX11Renderer@RenderAPI again.

 

I will have a look at the troops engaging each other and see if I can reproduce, do you have a mission or track file available?

Similar issue here. It happens on almost every flight and totally random (on startup, takeoff, mid-mission)

Several crashes in yesterday´s Multiplayer session

 

Hi,

yesterday I had 5 CTD´s on 3 servers. Simply during the flight to the target area, nothing specific I did all the 5 times. Strange thing was that one mate had 2 of the 5 crashes at the same time while another was flying without major issues (beside of the SA-15 hit ;) ). Attached are the log files from all flights/crashes.

I hope this helps. I didn´t have so much issues before in an MP flight.

Just a follow-up on this. I was getting crashes in a custom mission I created...same API crash but when I took out the infantry I created, it hasnt crashed at all since. I wonder if the infantry has something to do with it???

I would like to confirm that, I tried around 10 different missions, the CTD usually would happen at the same time in most of them, always where there was some infantry action / infantry present in the area. Hope this helps!

Tried to update dx and everything. someone can direct me to the autoexec.cfg syntax infos? i just think it's graphics settings related, but i can't get into the software to set it. Thanks

I haven't had a lot of time to test out this theory yet...but I think this might be related to a vehicle or SAM object.

 

Test:

Create Fast Mission

Use advanced options to control what unit types are available.

 

Game crashes when all unit types are selected.

No crashes when just Fighters, Attack, Helicopters, or all three.

 

I was able to fly around in such missions for over two hours without a crash, but as soon as I had all types in a map, it crashed within 20 minutes.

 

Curious if anyone else has noticed this pattern? Maybe it helps narrow it down so we can get it fixed!

I thought this as well. There's one mission - Long day, single mission for Su-25T - that crashes the game in 30 seconds or so. That mission has an intro where there is artilery exchange etc. happening at the very beginning. Other missions crash later, but invariably there's a lot of activity on the ground. So it might be that it's an object doing something specific that triggers the crash.

Did the same observation. That or recorded voice seems to be the source.
