Two Su 30 will be coming for our independence day parade of 5th july lets see if they do some acrobatics there jeje the pilots on the plane will be venezuelan.

If is posible i puit a link for a picture of the parade.

It's probably a customised version of the Su-30MK, customers can basically fit what they want on it and to it.

Recently there have been pics of the MKI in India fitted with the Litening II targeting pod.

May they safely fly, always survive and never take off in aggression.

LOL how does it feel to swich from horse to mule? :D

The Su-30MK is the equivalent of the Su-37 in all terms... even TVC in some models. If they get anything past the 30MK-1, it'll be TVC-equipped for sure with avionics comparable to the 37 demo model.

Not quite, the 37 has a better TWR ... but I guess that might be splitting hairs.

don't think so ;) first they'll need to engage in a sport called training :)

Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.

Lets hope they'll get a cool green paintjob, or something radical, not just all these splinter camos (they're nice as well, but I was hoping for some eye candy)

What I like about the proliferation of Su-30 is that it is such a beautiful plane.

So, I also vote for a nice paintjob!

Oh Lord.....

This is going to be quite an experience for the pilots that are use to the western technology. But what I wanna know is does the president realize how much its gonna cost to train these pilots, also money for simulators and the works that go along with it.??I really wanna see how this turns out, sounds like a real challenge to me,also wish no pilots get hurt in this phase of their training.I think this is a great opportunity to fly such a beautifull bird, man it would be nice if we had some SU-27's and 30's in our arsenal.Im not too crazy about our Invisible fighter, for $355 million a bird is to much for a fighter that aint even gonna be use for A2G missions...strictly a air superiority role.Dont get me wrong I think the Raptor is an excellent bird,I just dont think it's worth all that money.:pilotfly: Im not an expert,so my opinion carries very little weight. But these russian fighters are down right nasty,The last thing i wanna see on my tail is an SU-35 or 37.Has anyone seen these bad boys in action ??? They are DEADLY.Anyway thsnx for sharing the info, please keep us posted, you have better access to these articles...thanx for sharing.

LOL, no :D open your eyes :D Horse=F-16, Mule=Su-30.

No matter how hard I'm trying to "open" my eyes I see nothing but a quiet rediculous comparison. If you really think that the Su-30 is the mule and the F-16 is the horse- think again.:D

Depending on what it is included on the Su-30, it can be very cheap, infact, not much more expensive than new F-16's.

I think the biggest difference for F-16 pilots is how differently the Su-30 flies. It wont be as easy as the F-16 and they will take some time to get used to not overcontroll it and dominate the extra inertia.

In Operation I doubt the Su-30 will be better used than the F-16's for the simple reason that they wont be of much use against the rebels terrorizing the countries inhabitants against wich the Flacon had recieved litening POD's and LGB's. I realise the SU-30 can drop smart weapons but they are overkill and much less practical and difficult to use in that scenario when compared to the GBU-12.

They will be there to pick on GWB, and if that comes to be a factor the SU-30 VS JDAM and the flanker looses. ;)
