We do not have our products on beta for too long. 6 months is stretching it.

As for the date, there are several variables that prevent us from giving a specific one. It is close but more than that I cannot say. Also, the release do not depend only on us but must conform to ED's marketing plans. But be assured that unless something big happens, the release of the open beta is near.

Thanks for the update Zeus. It conforms to how previous ED and 3rd party releases were/are handled and actually confirms some of my musings on that subject. Congratulations on hitting this milestone

Current specs: Windows 10 Home 64bit, i5-9600K @ 3.7 Ghz, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB Samsung EVO 860 M.2 SSD, GAINWARD RTX2060 6GB, Oculus Rift S, MS FFB2 Sidewinder + Warthog Throttle Quadrant, Saitek Pro rudder pedals.

I'm sure it's just me, but I don't understand what this means. Can somebody interpret it for my simple, final-tests-stricken mind?

EDIT: I understand it. That was dumb. Sorry guys, I'm fried from schoolwork and excitement over this aircraft.

Doesn't say much though, entirely depends on what he considers to be close. In DCS terms 2 weeks is still probably considered as imminent.

Hence my asking, there's really no information whatsoever. You can interpret it however you want.

There was supposed to be a patch for 2.0 last week. My guess is that they're gonna include the 2000 in the delayed release of that.

I'm going to interpret it the way the devs have constantly said it and hinted at: mid-december. Two weeks from now is not mid-December. Considering the consistent tone, excitement, and hints, it's what I'll go with. It's like they're trying to flash wide-eyes at us in the middle of an awkward conversation to convey something to us, but they're unable to just come out and say it.

I think its too early to say if it is going to be late or not, but like Zeus said, Module is now on ED terrain, so it is up to them add it to the build that is in the making.

As I said again, I should wait till the end of the week, tomorrow is 15, and the next monday 21, it should be someday between these dates if their statements were true, maybe it is more slow because they plan to add it to both builds.

Yep, maybe that is something in common

Better is to add it to 1.5 first.

I guess the latest update of 1.5 has provisions already set up to allow for the M2000 as well although not listed in the release notes? :music_whistling:

Intel i5-9600K @ 3.7GHz; Gigabyte Z370XP SLI Mobo; G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 64GB (4 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4

GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4080 16GB 256-Bit GDDR6; Thermaltake Water 3.0 Certified Liquid Cooling System

Windows 11 Professional

HP Reverb G2 /TrackIR 5 in case VR dies; Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog w/ Thrustmaster T-Flight Rudder Pedals

Maybe the 1.5 is already fine, but they plan to add it to both at the same time and it takes more in 2.0. Who knows

So now we should be waiting for the 2.0 Patch to include also the 530D and magic updates along with his update

Zeus has said their testing has all been in 2.0, but that he doesn't see why it couldn't go to 1.5 as well since it should have everything it needs.

So it would seem it will go to 2.0 if nothing else, and he's hopeful for 1.5 compatibility too.

Is this only speculation? Can you point me towards some sort of evidence? I'm curious.

Yep, thats the common thing, now we only need the Model EFM and those things and the cockpit for users.

Missiles are different from the rest of the aircraft because Razbam asked ED to implement the missiles so that Razbam could use them when testing and developing the Mirage. I don't think we should take it as some kind of hint that release is imminent.

By the hints that Zeus gave us, the aircraft is on ED hands already, so maybe they are testing that and compatibility between versions, remember that was made in 2.0 and it should come out in both.

Don´t know how much it will last, but in my opinion, as repeated 10 times, I think and hope this week as the launch, lets pray :D
