Shaman Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 (edited) By good eyeballs, zoomed in binoculars and comms, Mustang pilot also using map with MGRS as default cursor position reference. I have just added Mustang TF-51D reconnaissance flights to three missions on <51>Server near front lines. So far on RED side, just to test things out and will explore this further game play wise (scripts) giving new meaning to this plane. Voodooflies Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Really cool, I would love to fly with this guy. Nothing worth more than flying with the pros. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Darkwolf Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Here is A10 main limit.... 10.000ft hard deck. In DCS, people respawn so they don't care about it. Real tactics don't apply in DCS. most people would get bored if they were "flyinglike pros: :P [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] PC simulator news site. Also....Join the largest DCS community on Facebook :pilotfly:
AtaliaA1 Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Ooooops... sorry about that! Lesson learned :) I live 15 minutes from Martin State Airport and see the Air National Guard flying their A10s quite often. I suppose that's one reason I pounced on that post. No excuse though. Thank you for the correction. I appreciate it! Mike Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Yurgon Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 There's currently some discussion about the efficiency of the TGP in 1.5 OpenBeta (IMO it is way too difficult to spot anything now, regardless of CCD/BHOT/WHOT mode). It would be really cool if you could get him to talk a little about it, like how easy is it to spot an APC in the open (not camouflaged, but possibly camo painted) at less than 10 nm during daylight with the TGP's different sensors?
Kev2go Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 Actually, that isn't solid or correct. The ANG does not use our module. They use software developed by ED but not the specific A-10C module that we have available to us. Tomato- tomAto . A version specifically to meet the Military needs, while we have a slightly modified version for the consumer market. Almost the same thing, CLose enough. Just like there iS Steel beasts for military market and then SB PRo PE sim for the consumer market, by the same developers, using the exact same engine.
