VR is the future, and it will see many enthusiasts embracing the technology that its benefits confer. Because of this, what's the temperament towards optimization of the various birds for use with VR hardware? As it stands, some planes are very VR Friendly, and others are wildly VR Unfriendly. My Hawk is quite good with VR. That said, what is the future like for new planes and VR compatibility/optimization/efficiency and how this relates to high frame rates?

Thank you for the update and for your dedication to our flight sim passion!

All of our aircraft look awesome in VR.

I have the DK2 to test them and also the release version is on order.

All of our models are very high quality 3D mesh VR ready.

Hi GUys , so as well as being able to do the Mach loop As OLdCinjun advise , we should be able to get a sea fury onto a carrier...pretty good going if you ask me or a touch and go with a vampire. Some Rhodesian Af markings om the NTTR map, (need a lot more trees) and you could be in a semi realistic African conflict. Need some realistic elephants , mind you. You guys are doing a great job, keep up the good work. The Rhodesian Af used Vampires and Hunters 79/80 against "The Ter" (any terrorist). so there is lots of scope. The British peacekeeping forces found the "Shilka" was about to be deployed against these aircraft. I.E it was found "in country" during the ceasefire .....that would have been interesting,to say the least....lots of scope.

Indeed, I had a play on the Kittyhawk with the VR kit at Duxford. The Kittyhawk worked very well indeed with it.

Yes, I would very much like to try it with a DCS module. It's a large investment sight unseen! I presume it'd be a little premature to wish for a Typhoon to test it with, so I guess maybe a Spitfire or perhaps a Bearcat? Better still, maybe a Wildcat carrier landing would be fun.

Yes Random, I did a check on compatibility, and I have a pretty good rig with an i7-3770K CPU. It said that I will need to upgrade the CPU in order for OR to work, so it seems to be a hungry beast indeed.

..Need some realistic elephants , mind you.

They are in the casinos on the NTTR map! :smartass:

I'm praying that you guys are making headway with the P-40 problems, it looks great and I'm really eager to get my hands on that magnificent thing. It's the closest I am going to get to my Desert Airforce Kittyhawk/Tomahawk considering the RAAF didn't use the P-40F.

I found 3 on the register, go to

http://www.adf-gallery.com.au/

Then RAAF Series 2, then scroll down to A29, then RAF Serialed Kittyhawk, seems we borrowed 3 of them for 3sqn in Africa.
