Right Click the System Tray Icon and Choose restore Window.

 

Its a position save bug in Visual Studio compile next version will have a bug catch to auto reset position.

I have a question regarding presets. I use one preset for track IR and one for VR. I usually setup a new module in track IR first before i fly it in VR. Yesterday with the P51 module i noticed that the input assignments i made in the track IR preset were not there in the VR preset. I always assumed that only game settings are individual per setting, but that input bindings are shared, is this correct? Is there a way to copy input bindings from one preset to another if this is not the case? Thanks for the help.

Input bindings are shared. Only game settings should be affected.

Well i seem to get discrepancies between presets with regards to input settings. I noticed this on the P51 and L39 now. The latest 2.5.6 OB is giving me lots of weird stuff lately :cry: It seems ED added the possibility to save different presets within DCS, maybe this is causing issues with Updater Utility now?

I guess the utility copies stored preset settings to the corresponding DCS settings lua files before it launches DCS? But i have no idea if that can influence the input settings from DCS.

Well ED DID implement stored system settings in the settings menu, it could be possible that its interfering with the utility...but I dont see that happening because thats all on its own config.lua...and I doubt that the utility has access to this file. It has the ability to store more than one config file and select it in the preset menu, but I dont see that being an issue.

Clear any saved games paths,

 

if there are no Saved Games Paths set, the app will not be able to see or touch the options.lua.

I don't recall ever telling the program to set a Saved Games path. It suddenly started happening out of the blue.

But it hasn't always randomly changed my settings when I launch DCS. That only started happening somewhere around December or January. Prior to that I had been using the software for 6+ months and my game settings never changed.

I can make it so it remembers the checkboxes and textbox if that would make it easier.

if profile is set to default, then itnwill launch using the normal options.lua and not touch any presets.

Preset is set to default. I've only ever used the update function to update/roll back, and the VR ON or VR OFF buttons.
