Ice
We are at an exciting stage. Datalink is 90% complete and working well. Thats what we are testing right now.
VMFA117_Poko
At least we've got this info. I'll better go read more about features in FS X and watch some interviews with Microsoft devs. They know how to rise the tempreture. Two hours left to let downloading demo. Yup..I really wish ED was more like Microsoft and their promosion. Microsoft must draw in even non-aviation fans through their promotions and hype they generate. SuperKungFu
Personally i want to see that major bug fixed with the dark shadow when the aircraft is near water due to advance haze. That bugs the crap out of me. Also throwing in a new flanker or eagle model couldnt hurt :music_whistling: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
G3
superkungfu, surely one day your persistance will pay off. you found that old record, with the hit single "give us a new flanker";) and now with the eagle b side. i have a sneaking suspicion that something big is about to happen, but hey my sneaking suspicions aren't worth didaly sqwat:megalol: ED, we do love an update now and then. even if it is just a teaser, screenshot, word from the devs etc. anything to wet the appetite of the anxious community in waiting. and i agree as its been said before the written replies from the devs are worth their weight in gold, keeping us clued up on what the teams current focus is on. we understand things are busy so we are patiently looking forward to any new info or otherwise, cheers. SuperKungFu
Another thing that is critical is ED allow the Lock on engine to take advantage of duel core especially since the cpu is the bottleneck of the sim [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
nscode
If we haven't heard anything, then they're furiously testing something important. Or they're in overdrive trying to get things done. Let's let them release info when they have time to. yeeess... that must be it.... oooor... they're just on vacation :D Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us. ARM505
You can't really compare MS to ED: MS - Giant, globe spanning company, *plenty* of people - basically one giant software and hardware selling machine. ED - Some guys (like, ten? Maybe a few more?) in Russia. So, to say that they should try and hype it up a bit - well, maybe they're just a little busy right now, huh? Plus, sims like this don't respond well to hype - they're so complex, and even seemingly small features take a long time to implement and test, that all you do is disappoint people when you finally do release them, if they're overhyped. zorlac
Another thing that is critical is ED allow the Lock on engine to take advantage of duel core especially since the cpu is the bottleneck of the sim They have already stated that this will not happen with the current LO engine. We have the start up procedure and then the second one ABRIS/attack high quality videos which is a true BS porn and I'm watching it every day.. So chill out.. LockOn is a by-product, so it's not their priority to promote it I think. They take long vacations and are laughing at us - inpatient worms. Fufunka
running the risk of repeating myself, why ED or some moder can not implement something like the Wideview in the FS series?! It should not be that much complicated given for instance the good multiplayer synchro code.. Well, good point about their military projects. It is possible that some of these functions are prohibited for the "game version" release of their software. It reminds some time ago someone reverse engineered g-suit from the big military fighter simulators and offered it like diy. Shortly that guy found himself in a lot of legal and other problems.. Basically the most important advantage the western pilots have is that they can log long hours, while there enemies have low resources to fly regularly. Now imagine that you are for instance Syrian pilot with high tech simulator for relatively small buck and could fly many hours daily - well the Isreali/US guys surely won't be amused by prospect of this even if they flying hardware is better.. ED Team Glowing_Amraam Posted August 10, 2006 ED Team Share Posted August 10, 2006 Guys, please be patient. And dont look at Black Shark as the nextgen version of lock on, or whatever. This is an addon adding the KA-50 helicopter and it is EXTREMELY detailed in pretty much ALL areas, and this takes time to create. And there is also improved AI, especially for the other helicopters. Plus, as with EVERY game, there is bug fixing to do. So chill out guys, ED as well as the testers are working hard to bring this game out in the best possible way :) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgJRhtnqA-67pKmQ3A2GsgA ED youtube channel https://www.facebook.com/glowingamraam My facebook page

Fufunka
Well, it's not an issue of stockbrokers at all. You can get refurb computers for such a setup quite cheap, the only problem is the enabling software which is currently available only for the FS family platform..
