superserb Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 Check this: http://www.realsimulator.com/html/simulacion.html Maybe ED has something with that project. Does anyone knows ?

SUBS17 Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 That stuff all works with F4. It is quite expensive, some of the guys I have flown with online have it. [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
Pilotasso Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 You can fly with other planes :) ...as long as the SIM's suport it. .
SVK_Duchi Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 Maybe yes.But i woeld really like to si cockipt of an russian plane finaly.Almost all pits are on american planes.I think thats becouse its easier to built one.Thast my opinion:) Gigabyte 790XTA-UD4,AMD Phenom II x2 555 black edition 3,7 Ghz,Zepelin 4Gb 1333Mhz ddr3,Gigabyte HD 5770 Superoverclock,HAF 922,TrackIR5 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Pilotasso Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 That sounds almost incredible taking account the CH setup is more expensive here than that (600€). .
23rd_SATAN Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 Now thats cool. I want one. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Woodstock Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 I would guess one of their complete pits to be around 80.000.- to 100.000.- Euros. I might also be totally wrong and way too low... ;-) "For aviators like us, the sky is not the limit - it's our home!"
SUBS17 Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 Talk about pigeonholing yourself into flying only one kind of plane..............It's pretty sweet though. Well there is only one sim at that level of avionics that suports it but it could be used for F-15E or F/A-18 sims. [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]

I might also be totally wrong and way too low... ;-) You don't buy a whole pit, what you do is start off with the ICP and DED. I think the cheapest home made pit fully functional is and a couple of hundred dollars.(it involves duct tape, a keyboard and wires) [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
Pilotasso Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 If I was ever going to aquire a cockpit I would get the pit from origin instead of making one myself. Sometimes with complex machinery, the el cheapo sometimes comes out expensive in the end and it will never feel the same as the full stuff. .

He is talking about a force sensor conversion kit for the Cougar: http://www.realsimulator.com/html/fssb.html ...you need to already have the Cougar HOTAS for it :) Cheers, - JJ. JJ
