I HAVE THE FIX !

PAUSE your Track IR, then launch DCS, then join your server, then get cockpit. Once you are cockpit, release the pause on your Track IR !

This is such a basic thing, how did QA not stumble into the issue.

EDIT: Setting the vangle value to 0 in the A-10C messes it up even further. M-2000C on the other hand is fine.

Sadly this doesn't work for me. Still slanted view on the A10C.

Hawk still has the slew and the forward backward disabled in the 6DOF. Only the look up/down and left/right works

Thanks for the test. Guess we will have to wait for an hotfix AKA new friday patch if not later as we waited 1 month for the AI bug to be solved.

After deleting profile and repairing, tried the 'pausing TIR trick' 4 times. Setup is a multiplayer mission, no integrity checks, entering Mirage. Twice it didnt crash, twice DCS did, but only when unpausing interestingly. The view has recentered. But the third time some of TIR failed to work and the last time none of it worked. 50% of the time I got messages saying TIR unplugged, TIR plugged in, on the screen, so something is not working correctly. There was only four of us on tongiht, but all had issues with view centering, trackir axis missing in multiple modules, one was a Rift player and experienced the same with that.

It does beg the question, what was the testing setup if this was smoke tested as it seemed clearly wrong from the get-go. If there is some other testing setup, what was it, else some compiling/packaging problem must be to blame.

Don't despair yet, I may be onto something with that .lua here. I'll report back.

to me it looks like some axis assignments of the Track-IR section are messed up after update. i had my trackIR set up properly for all my modules, now for example in the UH-1H the axis for "horizontal movement" is blank, it was on trackir_yaw before.some axes might even be switched around (like tilting axis on vertical axis or other weird things)

edit: when re-assigning the axis for yaw and pitch (which were blank after update) i noticed that the yaw rotation is not horizontal anymore. meaning: when you look left completely horizontal, the view tilts to the side.... i guess they adjusted something for the VR stuff...

Actually for those FC3's planes, the TIR and the Mouse can control the view at the same time.

Can someone Post a screen shot of 2 Items for me to see:

- Enter Cockpit, Look Left/Right, Keep Throttle at Idle, Enable Controls Indicator (RCTRL+ENTER), Take Screen Shot,

-While Still in Cockpit, Press ESC, Goto Adjust Controls, Choose Axes from the Drop down Menu, and scroll all the way to the right to view mouse and track IR settings. Take Screenshot.

Also Change the Main from Aircraft to General / View (not aircraft specific axes controls and post screenshot of those too.

Just tested with the HTC Vive and the Su-25A. I noticed right away that the view was pointing a bit down. When moving forward and backward the view moves up and down at the same time.

I touched the mouse by error and the view moved. So I centered the view with the mouse (beware, high risk of nausea while moving the view with the mouse) and head tracking was perfectly normal then.

Numpad 5 to Center, and LALT+C to Disable Mouse Look (Technically it enables Click Mouse).

Either or, I just want to test to make sure TrackIR/HMD View Axes are not linked to other inputs (ie throttle),

it looks like they are Linked to the mouse position based on recent posts.

Also If Someone Wants to, Clear the Mouse of the Camera Axes Controls, Click OK, Re-Center, and test.
