but I'm slightly mad with this week community news. few videos about the F-5E were posted and not a single one from bunnyap sim - one of my fave dcs youtubers - and he's making a very, very indepth video series about the aircraft:

I am not sure what your point is, if bunyap is one of your favorite youtubers, you are subscribed and get an email the minute he uploads a new vid, do you need more notification of his videos? And what does this have to do with "community news" which I assume you mean the ED newsletter?

1- promotion, not notification

2- the video fits in the newsletter subject

 

then you gonna say a bunch of things about "video promotion" and bla bla. but I'm not citing his video just for the sake of promotion, but because - gonna stress this again - it's very informative: for people looking about the aircraft, still deciding if it's worth, or also learning its systems/instrumentation/quirks/stuff.

 

for the work and effort bunnyap is putting in these videos about the F-5E - that also helps promote DCS and the module - and since the newsletter is already featuring some community videos, I just think it would be a nice thing to do.

 

hope you understand my point now.

 

it's hard for me to explain and express myself since english is not my natural language. tried my best to explain the right point (with the help of a couple of edits :P)

While I agree that bunyap is one of the better YouTubers out there for DCS, it's all done on his own time and his own efforts, but there are also other youtubers that make similar videos. Its more up to them to build their audiences and promote their vids, and honestly, they have been featured on places like ED's Facebook page before.

 

I think most of these guys would rather work in their own time frame than be given a deadline to meet ED's newsletter schedules and such, I dont see anything wrong with how they are doing it now.

If I understand it correctly you can use your bonus points ( if you have any from previous purchases) to get up to 60% off NTTR

That's because it's not a sale per se. You'll probably see the option of using Your bonus credits on the map though, in the checkout phase of the purchase (if You have any bonus credits obviously).

"Updated MiG-29A model." yay I missed that in the changelog and was really surprised when I jumped in one of my missions - it looks great. I also like the livery preview window, was asking for something like that long time ago!

Also, my Hawk is able to take off now.
