We have to thank Snoopy for providing the info, and Sith for sending this stuff to Yo-Yo. So thanks Snoopy, Sith and Yo-Yo, I'm glad you guys want to improve the DCS A-10C, fixing bugs and issues, it's going to be even better!

Thanks!

Snoopy and Yo-Yo for sure, me, I am just a big fan of this stuff like you guys.

How is adding the schematic to the manual going to fix what is wrong? ED has the schematics, what I sent to Sith I mean NineLine was specific to the pump and what I thought finally convinced Yo-Yo what I had been saying based on experience actually operating and seeing in person how the hydraulic system on the A-10 operates.

Yes, I thought about that. But doesnt the disengage switch cuts off the signal of the control inputs as well? Meaning that with one hyd system fail and the other disengaged we should have no movement at all?

Can you point me into the right direction of how these systems work? I know you know this very well.

Thanks Snoopy.

So my first post was wrong since there was actually two shafts, one in the actuators and another one in the elevatores themselves.

But my second response I think it was correct. If I have a left hyd system fail and additionally I disengage the right and only operative control input then I should have 0 elevator movement (I know no one would do this but its just to check the simulation).

Am I still wrong?

Yes you’re still wrong. Not sure how to explain it better than the dash 1. Like i said earlier, if nothing is jammed both elevators will move.

You did not know what the dash one is you ask we answer now your all up set because you looked bad well your digging a whole . have fun this is why I don't answer questions.

I read all day about this so dont tell me i didnt take the time to educate my self. Yoy are very rude and not helpful.

If i didnt understand it thats another matter. You need to be nicer and less arrogant.

Im sorry if my intelligence wasnt enough for you.

CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.

Telling someone who asked for help that read something and if he doesnt understand then go look somewhere else isnt nice. This is why so many people are afraid of asking here.

Very rude of you.

You’re putting words in my mouth, that isn’t what I said. Now you’re just filling this thread with off topic discussion.

Disconnecting the control linkage should seize the actuator on that side, right? That should shear the connection between the actuators. Would the connection between the elevators also shear?

What I don't understand is what effect the disconnected actuator has on the connected actuators set. Does it provide resistance to turning or is some fluid passage opened on the disconnected actuator so it doesn't fight the still-connected one?
