[DCS FC3] MiG-29 Complete English Cockpit Mod

Hi.

 

We've came here from MIG-29 A/G/S English Cockpit thread by dresoccer4. After this thread, I decided to make this mod, and after 5 days. A real Mig-29 manual book really helped a lot, but I couldn't reach info for two or three devices. Other than this, the cockpit translate is 99% accurate.

Could you enlight me about three models of Mig-29?

What's the differences?

The Mig29A can't carry a ventral fuel tank; the MiG29G is the designation for the West germany MiG29 ... its similar to the A but can carry ventral fuel tank.

 

The Mig29S can carry the R77 missiles (the others only have the R27, R60 & R73) ... and can have two wing fuel tanks in addition to the ventral one.

 

The 3D model and cockpit seem identical on all the Mig29 variants.

I don't know if it is still this case but the MiG-29A & MiG-29G don't have ECM but the MiG-29S has built in.

 

You may also come across other numbered variant descriptions:

 

DCS MiG-29A = MiG-29 9.12 "Fulcrum-A"

DCS MiG-29S = MiG-29S 9.13 "Fulcrum-C"

DCS MiG-29G = MiG-29G "Fulcrum-A"

Quick question:

 

Should the HUD still be in russian?

 

All the cockpit lables are english now, but the hud is unchanged.
