[MOD] DCS Radio Clickable Menu Mod

This is a clickable radio menu mod that i started to work on months ago (after finishing the ME preview & payload mod). However, due to lack of DCS env insight, i failed to make it work although i already built up the correct frame/diagram, and was very close to success.

 

Recently, with the help from ED, i can finish this mod (Thanks ED!).

 

It's JSGME ready.

It includes two: T3 for 1.5.x, T4 for 2.0.x

 

known issue:

1. mouse cannot be disabled for view moving (DCS module cannot be loaded in RadioCommandDialogsPanel.lua) when it is used for radio menu (so suggest to use LAlt+C to enter mouse recon mode).

2. in F2, mouse appears.

Brilliant Uboats, I also used the old version which no longer works.

Can you please possibly enlarge the fonts for us oldies with 4K screens and definitely not 20/20 vision ? Much obliged.

I too had the old PeterP version and I'm glad you have got this feature working again with ED's help.

 

However, once again, I would ask that ED make this a base feature of the game. Please! :thumbup:

 

ED could do that when they release their new ATC system with 2.5 (just some wishful thinking on my part......). :music_whistling:

I think since last weeks update 1.5.5 clickable radio menu is implemented natively in DCS? Try that out.
