In the patch notes it has the following: "Added clickable radio-menu"

Do we need to set this up in some way? As I went into the coms menu and it certainly wasn't clickable for me.

I understand that there is a mod available but before I download it I wanted to check if this has been implemented into the main game.

The radio menu is still hidden by the messages log though, in a training mission for example, under some conditions (like pressing an F key, or just depending on the timing). It might be masked that way, perhaps it is the issue here?

Usually closing the menu and re-opening it sorts it out.

Ah, one problem solved...another discovered!

The cursor is indeed working ( using the Hawk BTW ) however Im using it in VR and the VR cursor is different to the mouse cursor!

Usually when I bring up the on screen cursor I get a blue cross, this I can use to point at various buttons, etc and use it with a key assigned to my stick. If I move my mouse this cursor also moves freely and I can of course click buttons using the mouse.

Now when I bring up the coms menu I still have this blue cross, but if I move it over to the coms menu it doesnt do anything. However, a white dot apears which is now moveable only by my mouse. This clicks on the coms menu and works as expected.

Is this a known limitation or is there any work around?

Thanks!

**EDIT**

The two cursors are somewhat connected. If I move my head the blue cursor moves but the white dot stays still. If I move the white cursor with my mouse the blue cursor moves as well. They are positioned as below:

Depends on whether You want to have two separate installs of DCS or not. You can either convert Your 1.5.4 stable into 1.5.5 Open Beta, or download and install Open Beta as a second game.

Normal is the one You already have, so yes, "early access" is the Open Beta one.

Bignewy, is this the only development for the radio menu? Was hoping from feedback from Wags that it maybe selectable by configuring the comms button on the Warthog throttle i.e. flick it up and down to navigate the menu then press it to select. Would make VR comms so much better.

I've not updated to 1.5.5 to test.

And not only VR comms; I think it would be very convenient for any HOTAS combinations with no keyboard at hand. It's too bad we still don't have this as it seems like a simple addition.
