Esac_mirmidon Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 (edited) Thanks ¡¡¡¡ Great video mate. Thumbs up ¡¡ One question i have. If the Editor´s Map has True Heading but the simulated terrain has Magnetic Heading why isn´t needed a correction for magnetic deviation when you insert the Heading 262º with Nevada deviation? Zeus67 Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Thanks ¡¡¡¡ Great video mate. Thumbs up ¡¡ One question i have. If the Editor´s Map has True Heading but the simulated terrain has Magnetic Heading why isn´t needed a correction for magnetic deviation when you insert the Heading 262º with Nevada deviation? All INS input headings are in true heading. The system internally converts them to magnetic heading. The only navigation device that uses magnetic heading is the HSI when you are entering a VAD (TACAN offset). diditopgun Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 Hi all ! In the video you say you press the pickle button until the bar crosses the FPM and so it auto-releases. (same as in CCRP mode) But few days ago I did some INS bombing training and everything worked fine excepted the auto-released. When I click the pickle button it immediately released the bombs.... What can be wrong on my side ? I have noticed too, that between mission editor ruler and F-10 map ruler there is a small difference of position for a same azimuth. If you enter F10 map ruler value into BAD it's correct. But if you enter mission editor ruler value into BAD you will have to correct about 0.5° to observe a correct bearing to target. And a last question: Do we have to use ZBI mode or not after selecting PI ? What is this mode exactly ? :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Intel I7 8700K / RTX 3080 / 32Go DDR4 PC21300 G.Skill Ripjaws V / MSI Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon / Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold - 1000W / Noctua NH-D14 / Acer XB270HUDbmiprz 27" G-synch 144Hz / SSD Samsung 860EVO 250Go + 1To / Cooler Master HAF X / Warthog+VPC WarBRD / Thrustmaster TPR / Track-IR v5 + Track Clip Pro / Windows 11 64bits.

Didn't use it so far Edited November 30, 2016 by Rlaxoxo [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Youtube Reddit

Inviato dal mio ASUS_Z00LD utilizzando Tapatalk I don't think there should be any issues, you can use F-10 map as well Not sure about magnetic & true headings which ones are displayed in F-10 hmm but should be close enough [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Youtube Reddit

Oldfox Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 Can't get it to work: ins update on middle of the runway appears to be doing nothing and then the cross is not really over the tanks... Then bomb is released as soon as I press instead of waiting for CCRP release point :( Getting confused with that training mission and ins update looks broken to me. Am I doing it wrong or is it a known issue? Thanks!
