Huey Flight Model AFM or PFM ?

Recommended Posts

I wouldn't worry about that, as the Huey's FM is EXTREMELY good.

But technically it's an External Flight Model, because it comes from a 3rd party developer. But then again BST does work closely with ED so it might be a PFM... the world may never know.

DCS modules are built up to a spec, not down to a schedule.

In order to utilize a system to your advantage, you must know how it works.

Can't wait for R[ealistick]FM which include the air flow around the buildings, ships or mountains.

That would not be part of the FM but part of the DCS World environment.

The article you linked is nice but it is not about Flight Models and software like that would cost you significantly more than what all of the DCS modules, put together, cost currently.

The real life huey pilots I fly with are happy with the flight model. Thats good enough for me, though they do say the N2 droop is more like the kiowa than the Uh-1h
