cichlidfan Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 AFAIK, that has not happened yet, and I don't recall the number being as large as 13. ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! razo+r Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 it was this update here, there was also a Weekend news about this: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2956109&postcount=19
Art-J Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Depends on how one defines an "airport". I had an impression that the old newsletter just mentioned adding various facilities, from small GA airstips up to big airports. And so they did, the total number at the moment is 17. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
vee333 Posted February 21, 2017 Author Posted February 21, 2017 I looked at the cancas map and it 19 airports
razo+r Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Caucasus map did not got any airport updates, only the 2.0 Nevada map
cichlidfan Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 I was indisposed the week that update came out. I forgot about it. The number of airports on the Caucasus map has nothing to do with the number on the Nevada map. vee333 Posted February 21, 2017 Author Posted February 21, 2017 I was indisposed the week that update came out. I forgot about it. The number of airports on the Caucasus map has nothing to do with the number on the Nevada map. thing is that in real life nevada as a lat more airports
razo+r Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 the Caucasus map did not get any airfield updates i think you are mixing somehting up...
vee333 Posted February 21, 2017 Author Posted February 21, 2017 I ment that the thay made 19 airports for the caucasus befor it was even released map so you thick thay woud maded a lat more airports for the nevada map
ebabil Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 i would prefer populated living airports rather than new desolated ones FC3 | UH-1 | Mi-8 | A-10C II | F/A-18 | Ka-50 III | F-14 | F-16 | AH-64 | Mi-24 | F-5 | F-15E| F-4| Tornado Persian Gulf | Nevada | Syria | NS-430 | Supercarrier // Wishlist: CH-53 | UH-60 Youtube MS FFB2 - TM Warthog - CH Pro Pedals - Trackir 5
razo+r Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 Just because one map has xxx-airports, it doesn't mean that the next one gets more... The Nevada map was released to test out the new engine and people were really waiting for it and getting angry and nervous. the Caucasus map was there since at least Flaming cliffs 1. I don't know how many airports the real Nevada area has, but we should stay realistic...
vee333 Posted February 22, 2017 Author Posted February 22, 2017 I looked it up and theres 126 airports in nevada and about 10 military airports in nevada
vee333 Posted February 22, 2017 Author Posted February 22, 2017 I looked it up and theres 126 airports in nevada and about 10 military airports in nevada
razo+r Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 in our Nevada area or in the whole Nevada area?
vee333 Posted February 22, 2017 Author Posted February 22, 2017 in the whole nevada area but I thot the map cavered the whole nevada area
Silver_Dragon Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 Wags talk some time ago about a "hope to" to a second expansion include National Training centre for CA and helos training. if that turn on a "real" develop, surely can be more airbases on maps. USSInchon Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 If the NTTR expands to R-2502 we will likely only see Barstow Airport and maybe China Lake NAWS. I think that is a big IF at this point with what else is going on, but they have surprised us before.
vee333 Posted February 24, 2017 Author Posted February 24, 2017 so I fended what I was lokin for it is the 2.0.4 map extension pack and it sase it as 13 more airports but I cant fend where to dowload does any body no where to fend it thanks
Art-J Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Extension pack was a built-in part of a game update. If You have 2.0.x installed, by now it should have updated itself automatically to version 2.0.5, so these airports should already be there. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
vee333 Posted February 24, 2017 Author Posted February 24, 2017 I do aff 2.0.5 instilled but I aff about 4 to 5 airports
razo+r Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 I do aff 2.0.5 instilled but I aff about 4 to 5 airports Do a repair because being on 2.0.5 and having 4-5 airports is not possible
cthulhu68 Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 I think Vee is referring to airdromes (the symbols you see on create fast mission map). There are multiple airbases in each airdrome area.
