As we have just started producing this model, it will take a while before all pre-orders are taken care of, probably some time in mid/late January.

Chinese New Year however also has to be mentioned in this context.

 

I paid for it on the 26th, haven't heard anything yet about shipping.

According to VKB HQ, opening orders should happen when all pre-orders have shipped, and they hope this will be the case after Jan 15.

what does will complete mean? To me it means I will have it in my hands

MCGs that was previously scheduled to take place 2 Jan, 2018, will NOT happen. Instead, it will happen TOMORROW.

 

When they make posts like the above you would assume that they would ship the orders from December first, but instead they are just shipping them out by product configuration in an order that is easiest for them to manage.

 

You would think they would ship the highest end model first. Failing that, provide an expected shipping date for your order instead of leaving you in the dark after a $500 payment.

Hmmmm, I haven't had any shipping confirmation yet and I didn't think I was that far back on the pre-order. I did experience the double billing issue and hope it hasn't screwed-up the actual pre-order. . . .

I was told by VKB HQ that I will receive more tracking numbers towards the end of the day (Shenzhen/China time) from them. Once I do, I will be able to update still processing Gunfighter+MCG PRO combo orders with those.

It is kind of unsettling to see answers on DCS forum and not directly to purchasers who's money is already in play. I would have expected a shipping notification much sooner after the release of my funds

Really? You've never bought something from Amazon, Newegg or the thousands of other online stores and not had a product ship for a few business days? Even for orders that are in-stock sitting on a shelf in a warehouse I've seen it take 3 or 4 days to ship. And they charge you as soon as you order. Either this is the first online purchase you've made, or your horse is so high it's wearing an O2 mask.

 

I have no problem criticizing them when warranted, but be realistic. They are human beings like the rest of us. If anything it should be appreciated that they are working hard through the holidays to get the product out asap. They could have just as easily been shut down for a week and delayed further.

He's right though, having to check-in on this forum for the shipping status on this is pretty Mickey Mouse. If I buy something from Amazon it's not "processing" for weeks after I've paid for it and I don't need to log in to a video game forum and hope someone from the manufacturer has talked about it. I suggest it is your horse who requires that O2 mask.

I just received all the shipping info just now as I opened up my email.

I very much appreciate your responses both on this forum and when I have contacted you directly at your site.

 

For the poster wondering why I brought the subject here - it is because this is a more general forum and my query had not come to the point of contacting you directly. I reserve that for when it becomes more a business issue.

 

As an aside, the tracking info shows that it left Singapore early today. Singapore? Just curious . . . . . again. :) I thought they were packed up and sent from Russia? or is this from Russia to Singapore and DHL Express picks it up from there? Shipping routes are fascinating.

VKB HQ is located in Shenzhen/China. The first leg out of Asia for these deliveries seems to be Singapore from what I understand.

The NA store has a clear "contact" tab where you can ask whatever you want about shipping, billing or the meaning of life via a private email. I even got a reply on the Saturday before Christmas. What more do you want? My god. There are legitimate issues and then there's just making a fuss. Complain all you want if it doesn't ship for two weeks without any explanation. 2 days... come on.

 

As mentioned, this is a "general discussion" thread where people have been able to discuss the new stick amongst each other with the BONUS ofcompany reps chiming in from time to time. Would it make you feel better if they never said a word on this forum?

I have purchased many things from various parts of the world, including China but this was the first time I have not been given a clear response about shipping upon having my funds deposited to the vender. In addition I have seen various communications from rrhode speaking about changes to release dates to the various versions of the joystick. My basic point was that there should be better DIRECT communication between VKB and there customers. Sideslip choose to turn my comment into some kind of personal attack. Very unCanadian of him :music_whistling:

General Question:

 

Once your pre-orders are filled for the various MCG grips, what will availability be going forward? Wait for batch runs, or will there be availability from stock?

If batch runs, how often do you foresee running these grips?
