I read all the forums and decided to make a wishlist that will have your wishlist in on thread.

Forgive me if I missed something you can comment your desire OBJECT or MAP or UTILITY below and will be add it in the list.

i would like to see some more military/aviation themed "generic" static objects and few civilian planes.

 

- objects to populate a military base ("housing"/tents, flags, functional placeable lights, hesco barriers, supply crates etc.),

or an airfield with. (service cars, ammo carts, aircraft maintanance tools/scaffoldings..., functional floodlights with power generator etc.

(good fit for new ATC system perhaps?))

 

- better model of us cargo truck (m123??) or similar transport vehicles for blufor

 

- a small (!!!) selection of civilian planes (ai) (maybe one small recreational aircraft, one midsize two-prop-plane, one small airliner (a-320), one mega airliner (747 or similar)

(maybe also the integration of neutral/civilian side in editor/game logic (friendly to both red and blue).

- target drones for anti aircraft practice. older generation fighter with fitting paintjob and without pilot, or modern UAV type target drones

- ground targets for example old, rusty m60 tanks (when new effects are in place, these should not explode, since they would not contain ammo or fuel) and wooden infantry type targets etc.

 

i find it weird to have a shooting range where all the targets are vehicles, that are manned with poor soldiers... especially for nevada we would need some targets of sorts, that comply with the geneva conventions!!!

  • Bombing/Strafing targets (I know there's a very good mod for this but it really needs to be stock)
  • Revised graphical improvements for applicable ground vehicles
  • Revised graphical improvements for outdated models and textures for static objects, as well as having more nation specific static objects (can be done with textures)
  • Proper modelling of tank tracks (neutral steering for example on applicable tanks) proper tank track 3D models and animation (The Merkava Mk.4 and WW2 asset pack tanks are nearly perfect with regards to track animations and 3D modelling except the links actually bend to curve around sprockets and idlers when they should remain straight)
  • Proper suspension modelling for tanks (right now the chassis just seems to kind of float and bob whereas the tracks remain fixed)
  • Proper damage modelling for tanks (crew positions, optics, barrel, breach, tracks, armour modules, ammo, engine, gearbox/transmission etc).
  • More functionality for ground vehicles (lighting, closing of covers, stowage and deploying of RADARs, reloading animations (where applicable/only really for SAMs), set-up animations for EWRs and some search radars (and then have mission editor features for start deployed etc)
  • Improved logistical support
  • Revised ship damage models and improvements to ship models (both old and new, but focusing on old)
  • More FOB orientated static objects, HESCO walls, watchtower variations, tent variations, FARP/Helipad variations, spotlights, flags, walls etc (basically ARMA 3 like static objects)
  • Underwater simulation for seas, rivers and lakes (where applicable)
  • Amphibious capability for applicable vehicles
  • Ship and ground vehicle load-out menus for ordnance (on applicable units)
  • Improvements to vehicle sights to make them seem more natural, both for gunner, driver and commander as well as auxiliary sights (kind of like War Thunder, but obviously for modern vehicles)
  • Gun stabilisers
  • Ability to add/remove/modify coalitions and dictate which coalition is hostile/friendly/neutral to, have triggers to define allegiance etc (this will allow separate civilian, insurgent and target practice coalitions that can both be used by REDFOR and BLUFOR for example
  • Ability to set initial and forecasted weather and allow mission editor to add interim stages of weather with specified time intervals between each stage
  • More miscellaneous/support vehicles, tank transporters (with ability to load and unload tanks), missile carriers, bridge layers, ARV's etc.

Modules:

DLLs to build "pilot-able" cockpits on vehicles and ships by modders

Command vehicles can control others units by orders (Sam vehicles, coastal defense, etc)

Realistic ATC, GCI logic

 

Funtionality:

Sumergible ability to submarines

Torpedoes, depth charges and ahead trow weapons to ASW operations by air, sea units.

Naval mines and mining / mine-hunting operations.

Ground mine laying and mine cleaning

Realistic armour physics.

RTS system on Combined Arms

Artillery improvements, configurable ammunition (smoke, minelaying, termobaric, scatered submunitions, nuclear, HE, Chemical, iluminatory) and on call by ground, naval and air pilots from cockpit / Menu with real fire patern.

Ships cargo capability to real logistic with cargo / fuel / weapons / troops and others units.

Ships ability to dock on harbours and make beach landings with hability of deploy / load cargo / troops.

Towed artillery / MLRS with ability to been towed by tractor units / others vehicles and deployed and recover.

Trucks with ammunitions / fuel can carry only limited quantity and require return to warehouses to replenishes.

Helos and cargo aircrafts can carry troops / cargo without scripts with proper 3D models

My wishlist:

 

•Dust effects for dirt stretches in the Normandy map. That dirt looks fine and loose, perfect for wind to pick up. Also some dirt and grass flying up behind an aircraft when it belly lands in a field would be nice.

•Mud effects for when it rains in Normandy. I imagine just a texture that wraps around the tires, and fades away when taking off.

•When it rains, everything becomes more reflective, suggesting everything actually being wet.

•Jet wash

•Ground crew and equipment appropriate for the aircraft (for example, if a Spitfire requests ground power, an ACC trolley appears)

•Better (and sexier) damage model, both visual and actual. I'd love to watch my wing not instantly disappear, but fold over like a piece of paper before falling away. And also not instantly explode the instant I touch the ground.

•A Pacific theater map for naval aircraft. Some Jap planes to go along with it as well.

•A program or addon by ED that allows the public to create 3D models, allows us to create textures for our models, animations, and allows us to export and import those models in EDM and LODS format. Giving the public an EDM addon for just 3DS Max is like tying a steak for your dog 12 feet above the ground. And the unofficial one for Blender is currently broken.
