Kippy Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 Here's my default go-to loadout. It's both capable and seems to keep the weight pretty darn balanced. 163rd vFS Discord Soaring With the Snakes, Fangs Out!
MRaza Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 I like to balance out the TGP with an ECM pod, and the AIM-9s w/ a rocket pod like Kippy has done up above. Try to find out which weapons have similar weights and place those on opposite pylons. For example, when experimenting I found out that the AIM-9s and TGP are not similar in weight but the TGP and ECM pod are, so I always keep those two on opposite ends of the aircraft

Esac_mirmidon Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 Why dont you just trim the A-10 according to the current payload? Is much more easy. " You must think in russian.." mvsgas Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 Why is station 6, centreline not used much? AFAIK, in RL, loading station 6 block station 5 and 7. Loading 5 and 7 blocks 6. To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. ruddy122 Posted July 24, 2017 Author Posted July 24, 2017 I agree that is the easiest option. But I don't have a Thrustmaster HOTAS or an X55. I'll put that in Santa's list. Cheers, Lucky Well, to equalize weight differences between sides, you need the aileron trim, and neeed only seldom. Once after takeoff, then once after ordnance releases. You can still make it with the keyboard, can't you? Still better than doing nothing, or being constrained regarding loadout weight symmetry... Just my 2 cent. Fwd/aft trim would be a bit different, you need it a lot, that one would not be good without a joystick function assigned for sure.
