Magic Zach Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 .I find this to be the most influencing, helpful, and amusing post on the entire forum! I literally wiped my hand across my screen thinking it was a speck of dirt, only for the frustrating dot to remain! I have learned much from that experience. Things aren't always what they seem. This is by far, the best post I've ever found on the forums, and it's a period. One of those random, funny life moments... Magic Zach Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 I'm being goofy. Basically, your thread that consists of just a period (".") strikes me as hilarious. You probably missed a button or something. ___________________ To succeed in life, you need three things: a wishbone, a backbone, and a funny bone. crazyeddie Posted August 3, 2017 Author Posted August 3, 2017 Okay I will bite ... it was a thread about the problems I have discovered in modding the latest updated version of DCS2, which nobody responded to. I then discovered two other threads started after me about the same subject, so I dumped my views in there instead and that has been wobbling along with some useful information and just as much misinformation. I could not delete the thread, or the content, it wont let me, so I had to leave something in there otherwise it kept taking me back into it, a vicious circle I tell thee, a (.) seemed to be appropriate, perhaps a (?) would have been more appropriate.
NeilWillis Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 I thought the ? was the . getting shot down! 1
crazyeddie Posted August 3, 2017 Author Posted August 3, 2017 No, that would be (#ck), and the # isn't an a ... !
Magic Zach Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 HA!! I don't get it... ___________________ To succeed in life, you need three things: a wishbone, a backbone, and a funny bone. crazyeddie Posted August 3, 2017 Author Posted August 3, 2017 Does the # = an a (You said "shot down", by Ack Ack perhaps !!) Nope # = 2 letters, clue, the first one is F - the first word that crosses your lips when you get shot down. To succeed in life, you need three things: a wishbone, a backbone, and a funny bone. Like that mate, good attitude.

Mig Fulcrum Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 seriously guys, are you really talking about shooted down dots in a DCS forum?
VZ_342 Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 The game is biased towards English dots, imho. . <--American super-sized dot
Magic Zach Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 :) I like that. And very true.Thanks. REDEYE_CVW-66 Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Modding remains finicky. When using a custom made Spitfire sound mod- only the external sounds of the mod work, because the mod is split between "Sounds" and "Mods", but appearantly only one of them works from the "Saved Games" setup. This is annoying as I have reconfigured JGSME to put files in "Saved Games"...
